Glinda's Costume From Wicked
Now that we're friends, I've decided to make you my new project.
Glinda is the popular one. The one with flair, style and taste. She's the cool kid in school. The one the guys want and the girls want to be.
So, of course, you want to be be just like her, don't you? Here's some reference photos to get you started. I'll be adding more in the coming weeks, so make sure to bookmark this page!

Glinda's "Official" Costume
This is probably the most famous of all of Glinda's costumes. She wears this one at the beginning of Act One and the end of Act Two. Unlike the MGM version, this costume is white with silver accents. It has a scalloped, layered skirt.
Glinda's Shiz Dress
After the intro to Act One, we see Glinda during her first day at Shiz. This is the outfit for those scenes. It's reminiscent of the 1940's Lois Lane style "business" suits.
Glinda's "Popular" Costume
"Popular" is Glinda's showstopping number, so obviously, she'd need an outrageous outfit to go along with the scene. Hot pink with ruffles, it's hard to forget this one.
Glinda's Emerald City Traveling Dress
This little yellow number is unique in its choice of color (because normally, yellow and blonde don't make such a good mix) and for the cut of the skirt. Made with sheer fabrics, Kristen Chenoweth wore this costume extremely well.
Glinda's "Thank Goodness" Costume
In true Evita style, this is Glinda's rise to the top of the heap. Being declared "Glinda the Good," this costume signifies a jump from Shiz University popular girl to politician.

- I just got the part for galinda in wicked for kids on broadway. The director said to look outb for the first act dress, and i cant seem to find it. Please help!

- hi well i am lookinfg for a Glinda costume for my daughter and she wants a costume from Wicked. The only ones I have found was from The Wizard of Oz and that isnt what we're looking for. More info would be great. Also maybe so it would look good and be warm for Halloween
