Gloria Macapagal Arroyo
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (born: April 5, 1947), 14th and outgoing president of the Philippines. She is the country's second female president, and the daughter of former President Diosdado Macapagal and Evangelina Macaraeg-Macapagal. She entered the senatorial race in the 1992 election and ranked 13th in the elections. Arroyo began her term as Vice President on June 30, 1998. Her first term in the presidency lasted in the year 2001 up to 2004 after the former president Estrada ousted from the office. Then in 2003, she declared that she will run again in the office as president that won her the position that lasted in the year 2010. She is currently one of the congresswomen in the House of Representatives representing the 2nd District of Pampanga.

President Arroyo was born Maria Gloria Macaraeg Macapagal to politician Diosdado Macapagal and her wife, Evangelina Macaraeg Macapagal. She attended Assumption Convent for her elementary and high school education, graduating valedictorian in 1964. Arroyo then studied for two years at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. where she was a classmate of future United States President Bill Clinton and achieved consistent Dean's list status. She then earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Assumption College, graduating magna cum laude in 1968.
Macapagal-Arroyo joined the Philippine government in 1986 as Undersecretary of Trade and Industry. During her tenure in the Senate, she authored 55 laws on economic and social reform and was named outstanding Senator several times. When she was elected Vice President, she was appointed as concurrent Secretary of Social Welfare and Development, a post she held until her resignation from the Cabinet on 12 October 2000.The President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, holds many records. Elected as Senator during her first try in politics in 1992, she was re-elected Senator in 1995 with nearly 16 million votes, the highest number of votes in Philippine history at that time. She was elected Vice President of the Philippines in 1998 with almost 13 million votes, the largest mandate in the history of presidential or vice presidential elections. She was sworn in as the 14th President of the Philippines on 20 January 2001 by Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. after the Supreme Court unanimously declared the position of President vacant, the second woman to be swept into the Presidency by a peaceful People Power revolution (EDSA II). In 2004 she won the Presidential elections for a fresh mandate, winning with one million votes over her closest opponent.

- I was born year 1972...and as I'm growing up I observed different kinds of "dayaan" even the last one 2010 (I could say the worst!) and now they are accusing GMA for "dayaan sa mindanao" I said to myself if its true bec. (I'm not from mindanao) who did not?! This Aquino administration is just the same of the Cory's..."I am good, they are bad"...but if you'll research more about the history frim Aquino & Cojuanco clan...they're "salot". Why not just face the problems of the country? More and more poor filipinos now....1st time, the president allowed increases of the big co. that much! (the toll fees, meralco every other month increase...etc) And I think they are doing this harassment to the previous admin so that filipino won't notice this terrible economic problems we're facing right now. Rich becomes richer and poor becomes poorer..
GMA is the most workaholic Phil. pres. I've ever seen. She's not perfect ofcourse, one of few things I disagree during her term was when he aplogizes reg. the "hello garci", it was ok, but not enough, she should have explained why was she apologizing...
reg. her husband, don't really know him ...maybe just a shrewd bznesman?! I'm not sure.

- I think, PGMA is the best president that the philippines has ever had. Why? with all the crisis that the whole world has experience, it was only the philippines that has never been affected by the global crisis, although the opposition insist the the economy is down, in reality when you go out to the streets you wont see any signs that the economy is down, this is because of the effective strategies that has been implemented by the govenrment.
PGMA was the only Philippine president that was able to have the philippines to be known and respected by other countries. When you travel to the provinces, you will see the progress being done by the government. While the opposition continue to twist the mind of the people versus the reality.
I dont know if the presidentiables can have the level of workload that PGMA is presently doing.

This war can cause Fall of America instead of continuation of war; my best suggestion for America must keep his Supper Power on the World and should conquer the World instead of war, but by his No-1 scientific technology spending on agriculture, trade, education, scientific development and tourism, all round the World. Making an end to Economic Crisis in America.
A new Global Package is being offered for your kind honor. In mentioned above exhibitions, American Cultural Programs will have to arrange and American Traditional Dishes will be kept for sale. In these exhibitions American Tourism Stalls will also be set of.
Following rules and regulations will be undertaken for the progress and prosperity of American students.
a) Among metric, fsc, bsc, (engineering).mbbs, llb, ca and diploma holders in all institutions, all those receiving degrees at the state level, ten each from girls and boys by cash prizes will be announced on behalf of the gov during invitation on lunch.
b) For above mentioned top ten intelligent students boys and girls each, tours for different historical and healthy sites will be arranged free of cast.
