I'm on a Memorial Day Bus Trip and found your very informative lens! Squid Angel blessed! These are great instructions on how to make glossy buttons, and I might come back to this lens in the future... I have a website that I really need to redesign, and glossy buttons might work really well on it. Thanks!

You know what I think? YOU should be writing all those tutorial and informational how-to computer books because you make it FUN.

*laughs* I can't believe I never noticed that in my proofreading!
I will have to check my traffic stats and see how many people I was drawing in with that typo -- sometimes a fortuitous accident nets all the traffic that other pages miss.

Hi, this is hysterical. what a mind you have! BTW you used an "alternate spelling" of the word photoshop in your headline...

I used ideas form this with Inkscape to create an up-arrow button on Mozilla Firefox Tips. Thanks - this is a handy lens. I may have to write up how I did it with Inkscape. A hint is that I had to create a background coloured mask over the top so the blurred parts did not bleed outside the button edges.

I need to convert it a bit for Photoshop Elements but this is still very useful. I can now get by in HTML/CSS/JS/JSON but the missing bit scheduled for learning has been Photoshop to create my own simple graphics rather than rely on photos. This will be a big help. Fittingly the captcha is ... delighted
