Coconut Flour Recipes for Gluten Free Baking

Coconut flour is a fantastic alternative flour for gluten free baking. If you are on a wheat-free or even a grain-free diet, coconut flour is great for recipes.

For people on a restrictive diet, one of the things you miss most is baked goods. Now you can have gluten free muffins, gluten-free pancakes, and gluten-free bread - all made with coconut flour.

Coconut flour is superior to other gluten-free flours for digestive healing, in that it's totally grain-free. For those who are following the SCD diet, GAPS diet or other grain-free diet aimed at healing the digestive tract, baked goods made with coconut flour are legal on your diet.

Coconut flour recipes require a lot of eggs, which makes these baked goods much more nutrient-dense. Eggs are one of the most nutritious foods, and also one of the least expensive.

Coconut flour is also low carb compared to other flours If you are following a low carb diet, using coconut flour instead of other flours will help you cut your carbs.

My Gluten Free Testimonial

How I Overcame Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue & Allergies By Going Gluten Free & Sugar Free

I spent two years on a wheat free diet when I was in my twenties. I also cut out all sugar and took strong probiotics. I had a candida overgrowth which was caused by all the antibiotics I was given as a child, and a diet that contained a lot of white flour and sugar.

Staying off sugar and going gluten free for two years was totally worth it. I cured myself of rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue, and respiratory allergies. My constant joint pain, allergies, sinus infections and physical exhaustion disappeared.

Healing your gut takes time, but I am proof that it can be done (I highly recommend the anti-candida diet, the SCD diet, and the GAPS diet). Coconut flour is a great way to include baked goods in your diet while you are on a protocol designed to help heal a leaky gut.

Never tried this as an alternative to flour although i have baked with it before. I will try this as I love the taste of coconut and I am sure the consistency will be lovely. Look forward to there being more on here :)

My girlfriend is on a special diet and uses coconut oil in many of her recipes. I will send her here to see these recipes using coconut flour. Does using coconut flour make the goodies taste like coconut? I know using the oil does. Thanks!
