Ideas For A Gluten Free Easter Ceelbration

Every holiday meal has a main dish, i.e., the piece de resistance sort of speak. For Thanksgiving, you have the turkey. For Christmas, there's the ham. When it comes to Easter, the headliner would be lamb.

Lamb is one of the most traditional main dishes served during an Easter meal. There are many variations of a lamb dish. One of the most popular renditions of this dish would be roasted rack of lamb. The rack of lambs makes for a wonderful centerpiece. Coupled with roasted vegetables and garnishes like mint jelly or pomegranate sauce, this meal is not only gluten free but absolutely delicious.

Other gluten free lamb recipes would be roasted leg of lamb, braised lamb, grilled lamb chops and lamb stew. Other than Mary, now everyone can have a little lamb for Easter.

Like a side kick to a superhero, every main dish needs good side dishes to compliment it. Gluten free side dishes are plentiful and come in a wide variety. Basically any and all plain, all natural fruits and vegetables can be turned in to a mouthwatering, gluten free side dish.

There are many recipes available in gluten free recipe books or online. You can also pair your main dish with salads, grains such as rice or quinoa, soups and a variety of potato recipes. Finding alternatives to traditional rolls or wheat bread is simple.

Try cornbread or banana muffins instead. You can also make bread by using regular flour substitutes like rice flour, potato flour or tapioca flour.

No meal is complete without dessert. Gluten free dessert are a dime a dozen; it's choosing just one or two to make that's hard to do. Enjoy all the traditional sweet treats without the traditional presence of gluten. Chocolate cake, strawberry cupcakes, apple pies, fudge brownies, chocolate chip cookies and chocolate pudding are all made possible in a gluten free meal thanks to all purpose gluten free flour mix.

Without compromising flavor or quality, your holiday dinner can be the highlight of the day with gluten free Easter recipes. They're so delicious it won't matter that they're gluten free. The important thing is everybody gets to eat healthy while enjoying your wonderful culinary creations.
