As someone who's lived most of my life in Denver, I know it has a vibrant and varied restaurant scene. But sometimes it can be hard to find restaurants that cater to your specific dietary needs.

Some restaurants say they can make a certain type of meal, but the results, and the taste, just don't deliver on what they promised.

Here are some restaurant ideas for those looking for gluten free meal options.

Gluten Free Choices in Denver

1515 is a fine dining establishment in downtown Denver with many gluten free menu items.

Abrucis is an Italian restaurant in the Cherry Creek area with an extensive menu using gluten free pasta and other items. Check out their gluten free menu. They also have a location in the Applewood area of Wheatridge. I've eaten at Abrucis, and found the food is reasonably priced, and tastes great!

Duo Restaurant in Northwest Denver has a gluten free menu.

Cafe Colore is another Italian restaurant located in the LoDo (downtown) area of Denver. All their pasta and pizza choices can be prepared gluten-free. Menu.

Most of Jonesy's Eat Bar's menu is gluten free. It's in the Five Points area of central Denver.

Marco's has two locations, one by Coor's Field and the other in the tech center. They have a gluten free pizza.
