Mannatech Optimal Skin Care System
So why would a guy my age (59), a guy who has never used skin care products, a guy who grew up with icons like John Wayne, and the Marlboro Man, and whose high school football coach used to exhort us to "spit on it (injuries) and go" suddenly become interested in an optimal skin care system.?
You are thinking, "ahhh, mid-life crises. Soon he will ditch the wife and kids, buy that red sports car, and run off with the secretary...." Well, no, that is not it either.
The reason I am standing in the bathroom daubing on skin cleansers, conditioners, ect. is because they are made by a company called Mannatech, the leading producer of glyconutrients in the entire world.
I have been using their supplements since 1998 and I am very satisfied with those supplements, so I thought I would check into this new product line they are bringing to the United States.
Especially after I began to look into the online market for skin care products.
I think there is an opportunity here for online income from a brand new product made without preservatives, with a special kind of clustered water in which fungi and bacteria cannot grow.
Premature aging of the skin is linked to the presence of chemicals, fragrances, dyes, colors, preservatives, or synthetics, which are used in the manufacture of skin care products. When you perspire, these chemicals mix with your body's natural oils, and alter their function. When the altered oils combine with sunlight (natural UV light), they produce free radicals which accelerate the aging process of your skin.
So I had to order some from Japan where the Optimal Skin Care Line has been available since early in 2006, and where the products found great acceptance in the most competitive skin care market in the world.
So I ordered some skin care products, one week trial packages, and began my secret experiment. I thought that if the Mannatech Optimal Skin Care System worked, my wife, who is highly attuned to skin care issues and appearances, would notice and jump on the band wagon with me, but she walked in on me when I was daubing on the cream, long before any change would be apparent, and her eyes widened a bit, and I saw her think for a second or two, and then the teasing began.
So I had to give her one of the trial packages to get some peace, and she likes how it feels when she showers. That is a great affirmation for the Mannatech Optimal Skin Care System .
Ingredients of the Mannatech Optimal Skin Care Line.
No preservatives, no parabens (that's stuff that mimics estrogen)
Florentina Root Extract (Isoflavon)After reaching its peak in the early 20's, the female hormone decreases rapidly between the age of 40 to 50 and the skin starts showing signs of aging. Isoflavon is extracted from the root of Iris Florentina found in the Mediterranean region, acts to create beautiful skin by hormonal activity, inhibit the activity of collagenase and elastase (enemies to healthy skin), and promote the synthesis of the basement membrane and laminin 5.
Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract (yeast extract)
A yeast extract which promotes the synthesis of type IV collagen and type VII collagen. Combined with Iris Florentina extract, it strengthens the function of the basement membrane.
Hypotaurine (anti-oxidant - not
found in eye cream)
A derivative of taurine, which is used as a pharmaceutical additive, is present in human skin and eyes. Hypotaurine acts to prevent hyaluronic acid (which retains water in cells and protects cells) from being dissolved by hydro-oxyradicals, to control the activity of elastase and reduce the depth of wrinkles.
Artemia Extract (GP4G)
A bioenergetic ingredient extracted from plankton. It activates cell functions, as well as protects the DNA from UV-B.
F-Fucoidan (Kombu)
Extracted from specific Kelp. This F-Fucoidan provides a superb water retention function. It smoothes skin by creating a micro-veil over the skin surface.

We got amazing skin smoothing & clarifying results with a Canadian line Quantum Hydrox, that we get mailed to us from two drugstores: Shoppers Drugs in Vancouver & Pharmasave (online). It's hard to believe that an antiaging skincare line majorly controlled my acne & also helped smooth & firm my skin. The unbelievable thing is that my hubby has started to use it too and now uses it religiously too!!
