I am teaching my kids too.
I make my own soaps, cleaners, balms, perfumes... and I am an Organic Gardener.
When my kids were little, they each had their own little section of the garden where they chose what to plant. They also helped me plant spinach and beans and corn... .
They were always willing to try something from the garden when they helped plant it and/or take care of it.
They love fresh foods now and love my cooking too as it is from stratch from my organic gardens and our beef from the in-laws cattle that is not full of hormones and antibiotics... .
I still want to get my own chickens, but have to wait until the time is right.
