3 Easy Tips to Go Green With Homemade Cleaning Solutions
Want to clean your home in an eco-friendly way? Try these easy tricks for green cleaning using natural ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen cabinets.Baking Soda, Salt, and Water:
Sprinkle dirty surfaces with baking soda and scrub with a moist sponge. If you have tougher grime, add a pinch of salt, and work up some elbow grease.
Lemon Juice or Vinegar:
Got stains, mildew or grease streaks? Spray them with lemon juice or vinegar. Let sit a few minutes, then scrub with a stiff brush.
Liquid soap, Tea Tree Oil, and Water
Rather than using bleach for cleaning, create a disinfectant by mixing 2 cups of water, 3 tablespoons of liquid soap, and 20 to 30 drops of tea tree oil.
