Go Green with Reusable Bags

It is time everyone take some responsibility for the ecology. One simple thing everyone can do is use bags that are reusable. And if that bag is itself made from materials that have been recycled, that is added help to the ecology. Even better, have an ecological message on that bag. Now we have a triple winner.

How Do Reusable Bags Help?

Reusable bags eliminate the need for paper or plastic bags. Paper bags usually require cutting down trees. Trees remove carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, from the atmosphere. So eliminating the need for paper bags reduces global warming.

Plastic comes from petroleum. Reducing oil dependency not only assists in making us independent of other countries, it also allows a resource to not be used. Oil will one day run out. Use less and that day is put off.

Taking your own bags can really come in handy, they should be free and if they people to be most conscious of the earth ( the stores) should offer some types of discounts for people that have store promoted bags.

I cannot even imagine not taking my own bags with me shopping anymore. It is definitely becoming a way of living now. Lovely bags.

It's a great idea. I keep mine handy in my car for quick stops at the market.

Add a Bumper Sticker

If you are making a statement when you buy groceries, imagine how much more you can do with a bumper sticker. You travel other places, park on public streets, and generally have your bumper visible. Select an ecological message and get the word out.

Use just a few words that are large. Most people cannot read the small print on bumper stickers from another vehicle.
