Do you make New Year's Resolutions?

Do you have an idea of how you want your life to be?

Very soon you become a part of someone else's goals - and fulfilling their dream.

If you are discouraged about the outcome of your last year's goals or New Years Resolutions it is time to make changes in how you plan and achieve your dreams. Most never achieve their financial goals and many are unable to diet or reclaim an active, vital lifestyle.

It is not your fault, but rather faulty ideas that you inherited. One good new idea and plan can change everything. Now is the time to make changes.

The more you "see" your goals, the more you imprint your subconscious mind with your dream. A treasure map or vision board is a collage of images and words that you love - that inspire you - and help you to persist until you reach your destination. New Goals Stir Up Anxiety or Frustration

There's no faking enjoying yourself. And what you don't enjoy, you avoid. So if you want to be successful, your task is finding what you want - and loving it, and loving the process of achieving it.

New goals are always experiences beyond your reach - right? It wouldn't be a goal if you had it or could get it easily. You'd just go do it. When you commit to making changes - and mean it - you immediately confront your fears and subconscious program that says, "Oh NO! that's a change and it is not safe...I'm staying right here."

Crazy, right? Your fears don't make sense. The unconscious is a maze of input from your ancestors (genes), family, society, media, and your own experiences. Most is filed under "safe/unsafe or good/bad." The conditioned habits that feel safe, allowed your ancestors to survive, but merely "surviving" is a BIG limitation.

Why not try another approach that does work. Choose goals that you can do, then overcome your specific fears, and open your mind to deserving health and abundance. That combination delivers magic. Here's how it works in your life.

Your biggest block to health or wealth are your limits on your self worth. Limits set what you "deserve -- and what is good and is safe." What you have now is your unconscious limit. When you push your limits you feel uncomfortable (anxious, uneasy) - you feel as if something is "wrong." That is the clash of your old habits and your new goal. Self-sabotage as a bad habit: Change your self-talk.

Goals and New Years Resolutions are things you want - or think are good for you or that you should do. Only choose goals that "feel right" to you. Others goals and ideas may work for them, but may not be right for you. You can't pretend. It feels right or not. If you don't feel passionate about it - you won't have the drive to make it happen.

Goals are new ideas and often outside of your inner "safety limits."

Your reasoning mind doesn't know how to get there... so you soon feel overwhelmed, confused, and frustrated. Your rational mind shuts off and you feel "it's not worth it" - and that is how your subconscious maintains your limits.

If you don't have the passion to make needed changes, you don't have a personal goal you love.

Without passion, you soon forget your goals and your automatic behavior takes over and now you are repeating the past habits in your future...no more resolutions - and you feel you failed...you can't get what you want.... you are affirming the status quo to your subconscious. A simple plan works best.

Break the cycle with a simple trick - choose to do 10 things every day that are fun and that affirm your self respect and sense of self worth.

Your limiting ideas got there through repetition from family and school when you were very young. Change it by telling yourself the truth: ..that you deserve to have what you want, to have fun and enjoy life.

Push your limits gently but firmly. Prove to yourself through consistent repetition that you deserve more and that you respect your time and creativity and health.

Show yourself that you do not value old bad habits, such as over-working 24/7 (or you'll attract more hard work.) Your self-talk is writing your future script that becomes your "life" that you experience. Why not tell the truth? Your call.

It takes repeated actions and you must notice and affirm even the smallest changes - claim who you are now and what you want more of in your life.

Talk yourself into it. Changes only stick when you change your self-image - and overcome old fears - and increase your limits on what you deserve or are worthy of receiving.

So what are those limits? It's not a mystery. It's what you allow yourself to have, do and be - right now. Look around. That's it. If you want more then you must expand your limits and become more deserving and prove it to yourself.

How do you know when it is working? Your feelings about yourself lighten up and change - and you enjoy more and expect more. You also begin to receive more.

Negative feelings and vibrations attract matching negative experiences. Use a tapping method to turn negative and limited ideas around. Tap a few rounds to relieve the sadness, and then tell a new story: Even though you don't have these things now, that experience and disappointment is all in the past, and this is now. Your fear attracted those experiences and fear is poisoning your future. Stop it now. Tell yourself to file this in the "past" and to accept it and let it go.

Tap out all these negative fears and then tap in the life you want to live.

Now consider that others have these things, and it's possible that you can too...


Find 5-10 true statements about you and what you want...get creative. You are changing your mind from feeling "all loss" -- to the potential of feeling "all gain."

Take a quick test to see how well this works for you. Note how you are feeling right now on a scale of 1-10. 10 being happy. Just guess.



Examples of truthful affirmations:

    "I have collected all this stuff in my life, so I know I can attract more - like a new.....(your goal)"

    "I've made many changes in my life from birth to now and I can change again in ways I want to change."

    "My old fears and limits attracted my old experiences. I've changed and so my experience and outcomes will change."

    "I always get basic food and shelter, and I want -and now I deserve- more good things like.....(your goal)"

    "My friends vacation in fun places, and this year I deserve to go to.....(your goal)"


Now find some questions to ask yourself ten times a day. Why?

The results you get in life are the result of the quality of questions you ask yourself.


Trigger your mind to find solutions.

    Why is that everything always works out for me?

    Why am I so deserving of what I want?

    Why does everyone support my goals and help me achieve them?

    Why is it so easy for me to achieve my goals?

    How come I'm always the lucky one and good things always happen for me?

    How come I can buy all the things I want with ease?

    Why am I enjoying sharing my talents and skills in exchange for money?

    Why do I always feel fulfilled and happy at the end of the day?

    How come I always conquer my fears?

    Why do opportunities keep knocking at my door?


How do you feel compared to a few moments ago? Check to see where you are on the scale: 1-10 with 10 being happy. Notice the small changes and they will increase. Find what feels good to you and repeat it. Keeping score is a good way to prove to yourself you are making progress. What gets counted - increases.

Play At Achieving Your Dreams

The more fun, the more likely you Will Continue

Your insights and what you want work the best. As you do a list, you'll think of ways to get there quickly.

Now from your lists above, list 5 fun things that you deserve and want. Make them small and fun and definitely within reach.

Here are a few examples so that you REALLY FEEL you are enjoying -- and in fact do deserve -- more wealth or health:



  • Practice living as if you could afford it easily: indulge in a favorite treat - pastry, wine, cheese, lunch - once a month.


  • Value your time: say no to busy work or friend's problems - once a week. Take that time for you to consider ways of becoming more creative and finding more opportunities. Go for a walk or read a biz or health mag or activities journal. Carve out time for you and use it to do what interests you.


  • Give yourself the gift of sharing creative ideas. Once a month meet with other friends doing new or interesting things - hobbies, new diets, a vacation, workshops. Focus on them and explore their ideas. Open up to what others do and enjoy and play with possibilities. If you don't have any friends that are growing and changing - find some.


  • Reward and take care of yourself -- as deserving and worthy - and relieve the stress. Once a month have a massage. Take a trip to the seashore or mountains - and affirm that this is FOR YOU AND YOU DESERVE IT. Allow time and space for your creative Inspiration to emerge.

Tap Out the Old and Tap In The New

Persistence Pays With Successful Results

As you do new things for yourself -

Tap in or affirm to yourself that you ARE GETTING WHAT YOU WANT.

YOU HAVE ENOUGH AND YOU DID IT.

Are you willing to give yourself a happy fulfilled life?

Then do it now - in this way.

Why? You are reprogramming your subconscious - and Karma or Law of Attraction delivers matching vibrations - feel deserving and happy and get good stuff. It's that simple.

Children form fears at a very young age and then the fears continue until they are changed. Not getting what you want and feeling helpless and angry are facts of growing up. The story you tell yourself is NOT a fact - and it is limiting you. Give it up in exchange for reaching your goals.

When you are barely surviving and stressed, life is confusing and you feel trapped - stranded - out on a limb - and don't know which way to go. Stop that self-talk and those feelings or you will attract more into your future.

Replace Old Habits with New Ideas

Overcome the idea that no matter what you do -- it's never enough.

When you work really hard and still are barely surviving - you feel helpless to make changes. You may feel that you haven't gotten what you wanted and fear you are at fault or unworthy of it. Yet it is EXACTLY THOSE FEELINGS AND BELIEFS THAT ARE LIMITING YOUR WEALTH AND HEALTH.


Find your limiting ideas



Make a list of 10 things that prove that no matter what you do - it's not enough.

Why? Because that is how to find what is programmed into your subconscious and is keeping you stuck. Find the old experiences - all go back to childhood. Every child felt at some time, they just couldn't win. Once that idea gets stuck then you keep doing it. You can stop it now by finding it and changing it.

Go on - make a list - it does feel bad, but without it -- how can you find your limits? Tap on each issue until you relieve the anxiety and sense of loss. Or take each topic and bridge from the hurt - to feeling good....tell the truth about it - as it is now.

For example: maybe at some point in your childhood you didn't get a toy you really wanted, and no matter how good you were...you couldn't have it. Or, perhaps your parents were busy and unavailable - and no matter how good you were - you couldn't get their love or attention.

Change your mind



Now tell the truth. That was then, this is now. Tell yourself what is true right now: you can now get - and you deserve - more than enough. Give that info to your subconscious on each topic and you'll begin to make internal changes. Do it for all ten disappointments on your list.

You are changing your mind about what happened and what it meant to you. This is a quick way of reprogramming your subconscious.

Only Your Own Limiting Ideas "box you in."

Stress is the culprit underlying failure.

Persist until you remove the conflicts between your old ideas and new ideas or goals. Stress, fear and anxiety - are only some of the underlying factors that prevent you from reaching your full potential and living your dreams. Stressing over lack of financial funds, fear to take risks - many have gone down this same road to failure. If you don't snap out of it, you'll fall deeper into the pit of despair of never getting what you want.

Add 5 more fun goals that you love.


Thriving and enjoying life is a choice you make. This is how: Recall what you really enjoyed about last year - special times with friends, or special moments, or art or music or dance...what did you LOVE last year? Repeat them this year in a new way. You know you can do them - because you did do them. So make a list of 5 events - and do them all again this year -- in a new, bigger and better way.

These 5 things you want to experience "are enough." And you are doing them and you are enough and the experience was all you wanted so it IS enough. This is how you affirm that in fact - you do get all you want and you really enjoy being happy. Sounds childish, right? Well you WERE a child when this old habit started. Talking yourself into new experiences is easy and fun...and silly. However- Law of Attraction is listening to what you really feel... and so is your subconscious mind.

Now add more: Tell yourself you are doing what you love, and it's enough, and you did it. Your self-talk is constantly programming your subconscious and Law of Attraction - so to get what you want - say and FEEL what you want - while it's happening.

Set goals and work your Plan

You now have 10 goals for the year ahead that are fun and easy - and they expand your limits. Not only that - you can do them and they are yours and they are enough and you are enough and you CAN GET WHAT YOU WANT. Whooopeee! That was easy - and making it easy and fun assures that you will continue to do it. There's nothing like getting good results to continue in the direction of what you want more of. The more your limits open up - the more good fortune, abundance and health flows in.

    I always make out a list of some things I would like to accomplish. I take a look at it once a month. I always feel good when I can cross off something that I completed and it motivates me to do more.

    This lens has a wealth of information. I get stressed most of the time, and find it increasingly hard to relax, especially now that my online world is trying to limit my time in the real world. Great information on how to relax and change your life.
