Goat's Rue - Increase Milk Supply
Goat's Rue is a wonderful little herb that has many benefits. From helping new mothers to increase milk supply and producing breast milk for adoptive mothers, to reducing blood sugar levels in diabetics, this herb is very powerful.
Goat's Rue had originally been used for centuries to lower fevers and expel worms, but later research discovered that the natural herb also had the ability to increase breast milk and stimulate ductal growth in the breast. Moreover, Goat's Rue is apparently able to reduce blood sugar levels and may be very helpful in cases of late-onset diabetes.
Produce and Stimulate Flow of Breast Milk
For mothers and adoptive mothers...
As a galactagogue, goat's rue has long been used to aid in the production of breast milk. It has been used in folk medicine to help stimulate milk flow in nursing mothers when there are problems with breastfeeding, especially in cases of insufficient milk production. When fed to livestock, it is said to increase milk yield by up to fifty percent.
Helps adoptive mothers to successfully breastfeed, as well as women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), or women who have had breast reduction surgery.
Increase Breast Tissue
Non-lactating women can increase breast size naturally...

Goat's Rue is indeed a powerful galactogogue. The herb is known to encourage breast development in non-lactating women. Goat's Rue stimulates ductal growth in the breast and builds mammary tissue. It is one of the most potent herbs used to increase milk production and many experience growth of breast tissue.
Goat's Rue active ingredients are flavonoids, balancing agents of the natural production of female hormones, which naturally bind with the receptor cells in the mammary glands, thus producing breast development and improving the circulation of the mammary glands.

Galega Officinalis at a glance...
Galega officinalis, commonly known as 'goats rue, French lilac, Italian fitch or professor-weed', is an herbaceous plant in the Faboideae subfamily. It is native to the Middle East, but it has been naturalised in Europe, western Asia, and western Pakistan. The plant has been extensively cultivated as a forage crop, an ornamental, a bee plant and as green manure. Its name derives from gale (milk) and ega (to bring on), as Galega has been used as a galactogogue in small domestic animals (hence the name "Goats rue"). Galega bicolor is a synonym. It is a hardy perennial that blooms in the summer months.
Galega is used as a food plant by the larva of Coleophora vicinella, a species of moth.
Success Story!
A personal story...
Having a low milk supply was frustrating for me...that is, until a friend told me about natural products from Motherlove which aid in the prouction and flow of breast milk.
I did my research, read the many testimonials that I found online and finally decided to give it a try. Low and behold, it worked and it worked FAST!!! Within the next few days, I was producing so much milk, I began leaking. No more worries about having enough milk for my baby. It really worked!
Now, when I was done breastfeeding, stopped using milk production products and my milk dried up, my breasts were no longer the size they were before I got pregnant. Infact, they were barely there!!! I was a soooo upset! However, my friend told me about MotherLove's "More Milk Special Blend," containing the natural herb, Goat's Rue, which has been known to increase breast tissue in some non-lactating women. My friend had tried it with success, so I decided I would try it as well.
Again, the product worked for me! It did not make a huge difference, of course. However, my breasts look just as good as they did before I got pregnant and that's all I really wanted. I would recommend MotherLove natural products to everyone! They are safe, effective and they really do work!
