God of War II is the sequel to God of War video games following the story of Kratos, after he kills the first god of war, Ares. It was released in America on March 13, 2007 and features a two disc set. The first disc contains the game, and the second disc is dedicated to the game's development, including a diary of the game's production.
The gameplay of God of War II is very similar to that of its predecessor. The player controls Kratos in a combination of combat, platforming, and puzzle game elements. Kratos' main weapons are Athena's Blades, which are blades on the ends of long chains that Kratos is able to swing in destructive paths but also able to use to scale rock faces or swing from special hook points. Sending the PS2 off with a vengeance
Leaping through the sky, landing on a griffin's back, ripping both its wings off and flinging it to god knows where - stuff like this is awesome. Despite his warpath being steeped in deja vu, Kratos' latest bash is well worth the price of admission. If you had a blast with part one, there's no doubt that you'll enjoy a similar legume-stimulated combustion with this follow-up.
