God's Grace Notes

This drawing tells the story of how I feel about being in a relationship with God...

I used to feel unloved and unlovable; but as I have journeyed through God's word, and come to discover deep spiritual truth...I've submitted myself to God; and he adopted me! He's been the Father to me that I always needed...

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. Even to them that call on his name." John 1:12

My life was a mess because of the mental and emotional turmoil.

The past 15 years has been a journey through some very dark hours, but it's been a time of recovery and discovery!

The purpose of God's Grace Notes is to help other people who are floundering in the same dark cesspool of whirling emotions, shattered dreams and broken hearts, not to mention financial losses and hardships.

Poverty versus prosperity is a hot topic in "the church" today...it's easy to let that crystallize into all or nothing thinking...to allow our comprehension of prosperity to be limited to the attainment of money.

My journey has brought me to the understanding that true prosperity is in peace of mind.

That too...is out of balance when it deprives one of the ability to "seek wealth" because of mis-comprehension of what the Bible means by peace.

There are many different words, and definitions of those words that define peace;

In a nutshell...peace means nothing missing, nothing broken. Wholeness. Completeness. That encompasses every area of life.

I AM A SEED OF HOPE FROM THE LOINS OF GOD

God's Grace Notes is my life's destiny...

My journey to healing has brought me to this place of doing what I love, and loving what I do!

I love to write; draw, paint, sew, cook, teach, study...I no longer feel ashamed to be an egghead!
As a matter of fact; it's a huge part of my personality!

I love being myself, without guilt; without shame...and making no apologies for my existence!

My art, my designs...all reflect the fact that I love Jesus Christ with all my heart. I was a shattered mess; and he restored my mind; and healed my broken heart.

I'm still a work in progress; but today, I am embracing my future...declaring it to be happy, safe, productive, and my destiny is to be a great blessing to many people.

"In you shall all the nations of the earth be blessed."

God's word is a beacon in the night...it's led me out of the dark pages of my history and into the bright light of that future God told me about...

It's an ongoing journey; so I'm really excited to see where we go from here!

Ultimately, that's heaven...but for now; it's keeping myself occupied with the business of God's Grace Notes...That's my pen name, and that's what I write about!

Going about; doing good...just like Jesus said, and did.
