The purpose of this lens is the make users familiar with the different options available when purchasing their next set or ski goggles. Ski and snowboard goggle lenses come in a wide variety of colors and finishes. This lens provides information that will help make the decision about which color and finish you need much easier.

Choosing the Right Lens for your Goggles

There is an abundance of lenses available for ski goggles on the market. You may wonder why in the world you would want so many choices? Can't they just make one super lens that works in all conditions?

Well, goggle lenses really do make a difference. It all depends on the weather. When the weather is blue bird skies, a lens that is darker and blocks more sun is ideal. When the skies are cloudy and the light is flat, a lens that allows a lot of light makes it easier to see. When the conditions are variable and partly cloudy or partly sunny, a lens that works for all weather conditions may be the best choice.

Lenses come in plenty of choices. You will see every type out on the hill and in the lift lines. They are all popular and what you see on a daily basis will only change with the weather conditions. Lenses are designed to allow a certain amount of light to reach the eye and the desired amount changes depending on cloud cover. Usually darker colors, like grays, are for brighter days. Yellow and clear lenses are for cloudier days. Rose colored lenses work well in all lights, but not the best when compared to a lens designed for super bright or super cloudy days. Mirror lenses help reduce glare. And polarized ski goggles are high-end glare reducers.

Skiers and snowboarders have a tendency to check the weather every single morning. It's nice to know the temperature to see how many layers to wear or to know when the next powder day is going to be or just to know the day of the week. All this is great information for chair lift chatter, but it's equally important to know this information so you can pick which goggles you want to wear that day.

Picking the right lenses can make or break your entire ski day. If you have several pairs of goggles with different lenses, you'll want to keep all of them readily available. If you wear a flat light goggle lens on a blue bird bright day, you're eyes will be fatigued, you'll be squinting through your lens, and you'll get a killer headache. If you wear a bright goggle lens on a snowy, flat light day, you won't be able to make out where you are going or what the terrain ahead of you has in store. If you don't have the right goggle lens, it can be dangerous for your eyes or dangerous for your skiing. It is an important choice to make, and it must be made daily.

If you choose the right lens, you'll be leaps and bounds happier. The weather effects how much light is available and actually reaches the earth, but you control how much light reaches your eyes.

Goggle lenses make a huge difference. If you've never tried to vary your goggle lens on a daily basis, try it. You'll never go back to just having one lens. With a variety of different lenses in your goggle quiver, you will enhance your depth perception, improve color contrast, reduce glare, decrease eye fatigue, boost your performance, and overall have a better day of sliding around on the slopes. For a great all around polarized goggle that has interchangeable lenses, you can't go wrong with HaberVision Goggles

Ski Goggles Buyers Guide
Goggles are an important piece of protection for any snow sport enthusiast. There are a lot of factors to consider when purchasing a pair of ski goggles or snowboard goggles. The right pair of goggles will allow the wearer to perform better in the outdoors.
Benefits of Polarized Eyewear
Polarized sunglasses and polarized goggles allow wearers to experience the outdoors 'clearly' while still protecting their eyes from the sun's rays. Polarization of the lenses eliminates the glare created by water, snow, sand, and other reflective surfaces and reduces eye strain.
