From Amazon.com: "From her humble beginnings to her time in the spotlight as the first female Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin has led an extraordinary life. Going Rogue will recount her political experiences, her time as Mayor of Wasilla and as the first female governor of Alaska, as well as her rapid rise on the national stage during the 2008 campaign. Additionally, she'll share insights into the personal challenges she's faced including balancing her time as a working mother, recognizing the war's impact with her son serving combat in Iraq, having a child with a disability and supporting her teenage daughter through an unplanned pregnancy."

From BN.com: "Sarah Palin burst onto the political scene at the height of the 2008 presidential campaign and overnight became a national sensation. Adored by the right, bitterly reviled by the left, she is the most polarizing figure to emerge in American politics in decades. Yet for all the dirt digging and gossip that has surrounded her, very little is actually known about who she is, what she believes, and above all, about her plans for the future. In her new book, Sarah Palin tells the story of her Alaskan upbringing, her marriage and family life, her political career, her religious beliefs, and her meteoric rise to national prominence. With her customary blunt common sense, she sets the record straight about the many myths and lies that have been spun around her and lays out her vision for an America that is strong, independent, and free. Palin has received much attention through the media, but never before has her complete story been told in her own words. The memoir will be both a personal and political chronicle of her life."

What does "Going Rogue" mean?

The title of Sarah Palin's book is said to be derived from this October 2008 article in Slate referencing Sarah Palin's disagreements with the John McCain campaign staffers on various issues, leading an anonymous insider to state that Governor Palin had "gone rogue."

alteredkat says:

I like her...but I'm Canadian so it doesn't really matter...LOL.
Haven't read the book yet, but I probably will...if it falls into my lap.

Lori in Houston says:

I support whatever she decides!! She is the most genuine person to enter politics in my lifetime!

Mushi says:

Isn't that what this country needs more of ? God-fearing, backstabbing, homophobic ? politicians?

Eeks! Hate's kind of a strong word but, I think me dislikes her quite a bit.

Dreaded American says:

Palin is a real American, not one of these disghusting, looney, America hating, socialist/communist, half-breed, dirtbags like the one in our whitehouse.

tandemonimom says:

She is one smart cookie!

stargazer00 says:

I think Sarah Palin is just what this country needs. She exposed and eliminated corruption on both sides in Alaska and I'd like to see her do the same thing in Washington. I don't know if a presidential run is in her future but I hope she continues to have a voice in politics.

Hate her!
