A Basic Introduction to Georgia O'Keeffe's Artwork and Life
The portrait on the left, of O'Keeffe when she was thirty-one years old, was taken by Alfred Stieglitz, in 1918.
This lens will always be a work in progress. I will continually try to update this site with new links to books and information pertaining to O'Keeffe.
Georgia O'Keeffe is one of my favorite painters. I have read books about her life and art and always enjoying viewing her artwork!
I hope to create a lens that will be an excellent resource about Georgia O'Keeffe's artwork.

This is O'Keeffe's painting called, "Music Pink and Blue."
This reproduction of her painting is from the AllPosters.com website. This painting, created by Georgia O'Keeffe in 1960 is entitled: "Green, Yellow and Orange"
It is a very lyrical piece that I have become very fond of....

O'keeffe's fabulous painting of a red "Poppy"......
a Painting of O'Keeffe's that I only found out about very recently....
this painting is called, "Deer's Skull with Pedernal."
She created it in 1936, in oil on canvas. A very beautiful painting of O'Keeffe's called "Grey Hills"
it was painted in 1941, in oil on canvas.....
I found this painting on the site of the Indianapolis Museum of Art...... "Red Hills with White Shell," created in 1938
