Dreamworld
Dreamworld is located on the Gold Coast and is Australia's favourite theme park and entertainment venue for locals and visitors. I have been to Gold Coast Dreamworld several times when my children were growing up. I saw the theme park grow and become one of the most popular places on the Gold Coast. My kids loved Dreamworld, Because we are locals we were able to buy a discounted yearly tickets for the kids. It was very economical as my kids and their friends were there every weekend. It was a fabulous idea to entertain the local Gold Coast kids. Many parents were happy to buy the local yearly tickets for local kids- rather than seeing bored teenage kids hanging around shopping malls causing some trouble or writing graffiti on walls.
Dreamworld has a buffet restaurant called Billabong Buffet Restaurant, its air-conditioned, fully licenced restaurant. They charge $22.95 per adult and children under the age of 14 is $11.95. It is open between 11.00am to 2.30pm.
For families travelling with young children. Gold Coast Dreamworld offers single stroller hire for $12 a day, $22 for a double stroller and there is also a 2 seater wagon for the cost of $15.00. The cost to hire a wheelchair is $4 per day.
The water slide park White Waterworld is joined onto Dreamworld, but is only open during the Summer months for an additional entry fee. Worst bit really was the queuing everywhere. You obviously expect that in the summer months and school holidays.
Dreamworld is home to The Big 6 Thrill Rides including the Cyclone Rollercoaster, Wipeout, Tower of Terror, Giant Drop, The Claw and the Mick Doohan Motocoaster. Run riot at Nick Central with 17 rides and attractions or wiggle on down to Wiggles World. Try the world's latest board sport FlowRider, take a walk on the wild side at The Australian Wildlife Experience or come face to face with rare Bengal tigers at Tiger Island
Dreamworld is open from 10am to 5pm every day except Christmas Day and Anzac Day morning.

Check out The Wiggles Farmyard Friends, an interactive animal nursery, set sail for fun on the S.S. Feathersword, learn as you play in the Fun Spot Activity Centre and meet The Wiggles Friends live every day. It's a wiggly fun day for the whole family!

My Dreamworld Gold Coast Review
Thrill rides, close encounters with wildlife, cartoon character attractions, IMAX movies - and Big Brother! - are among the many attractions of Dreamworld, one of the Gold Coast's more popular theme parks.I have been to Dreamworld on the Gold Coast several times. It seems like every time I go they always have a different theme, new rides and new characters. I really enjoyed Queensland's only IMAX Theatre; we also walked through reality TV series Big Brother. It was surprising to see that the Big Brother House was so small as opposed to what you see on TV.
The animal presentations were amazing. The Aussie Outback at the Oakley Creek Farm Show was also great, the children really enjoyed it. We were able to cuddle a koala and get our picture taken, feed a kangaroo, get up close with the big crocs and interact with heaps of other animals and birds and even shear a sheep at the farm show.
Disabled access? Yes - There is access for guests with a disability. Facilities include parenting rooms, shaded eating and play areas and strollers for hire. The Wiggles have achieved exceptional success on television, in shows and concerts, and on CD and DVD. The Australian group's renown has now reached many parts of the globe, and the Australian theme park could be just the first of many. Scary rides - The Claw: There is no escaping you will be scared to shreds. The Claw is the most powerful pendulum on the planet. Cyclone - speed through this hair-raising roller coaster ride. Wipeout - find out what it's like to "really" wipeout as you tumble, twist and turn on this giant wipeout simulator. Be sure not miss the Bengal tigers on Tiger Island. Dreamword on the Gold Coast is definitely an adventure for the whole family at Australia's favourite theme park, Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.
