What do you need before you bring home your new goldenretriever puppy !!

there is a ton of things you might not think about, because you and the whole family are exited, and cant wait for the day to come and go and pickup the new puppy.
But when you read this first it might save you some time and money.
Time to find out what you need and money, because you can look fora sale.

One of the most important things you need to have is TIME !!

Remember that bringing a Golden Retrievers home is just the start of very exiting and maybe exhausting time.
A new puppy needs lots of attention.
I advise to try to take a long weekend of and spend lots of time with your new puppy.
TIP: Ask your breeder if he can put a cloth, like an old towel in the box with the litter a few days before you come to pick up your puppy.
the smell of the mother probably makes his or her first night easier, so you might get a little sleep to.

These come in a variety of different styles.
Choose a collar that is adjustable so that it will grow with your puppy.

Dog Food
Ask your sales person to assist you in selecting the proper food for your puppy.

Food and Water Bowls
While choosing your pets dish is a personal preference, take into consideration your lifestyle.
If giving your new pet water is going to be your child's responsibility stay away from ceramic, which will break if, dropped.

Toys and Chews
Choose from tug toys, balls, stuffed toys, ropes, vinyl toys, latex, rawhide or natural products, dental toys; such as sterilized bones or chew hooves.

Treats
bones, jerky snacks, cookies or nuggets in different shapes and sizes both vitamin enriched and regular.
Can also be used for training your puppy

Flea Control
Flea and ticks can make your dog's life miserable, as well as being a health risk.

Take the puppy different places, and have people and dogs come into your home.
Get the puppy used to unusual sounds and objects.

Take short trips with the puppy, just around the block or so, to get it used to riding in the car.
