His Dark Materials, a series of young adult novels by author Phillip Pullman are some of the most imaginative, amazing books to come along in a long time. And now, they are coming to a theatre near you. Starring Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman, if the film is half as beautiful and as exciting as the movies, then we all definitely have something to look forward to.

What would your Daemon be?
In the Dark Materials series, the humans have a Daemon, an animal companion which is a physical manifestation of their soul. As children, daemon's have the ability to change, but once a child is of age to know right from wrong, the daemon changes into a permanent manifestation that mirrors the personality of its owner.
