Canadian Golden Rescue

The Canadian Golden Retriever Adoption Service Inc. is a volunteer-operated, not-for-profit charitable organization, dedicated to rescuing and re-homing displaced Golden Retrievers, and to educating the public in general about pet ownership.

We carefully screen all incoming dogs for socially acceptable behaviour, and approve those whom we feel we can responsibly place. We provide spay/neuter service, micro-chipping, and all the necessary veterinary care required to place them in their Forever Homes.

We provide public education by means of brochures, an informative and entertaining newsletter, public/media appearances, and canine educational events which focus on responsible pet ownership and in particular, the Golden Retriever breed.

Golden Retriever Rescue

YGRR is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization which provides veterinary care and permanent new homes for Golden Retrievers from the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont). We are a full-service rescue and we assist Goldens of all ages and medical conditions. Our youngest Rescue Golden was part of an abandoned litter born at Riverview (our rescue and adoption facility) and our oldest Rescue Golden was fourteen at the time of admission to our program. We rescued our first Golden in April, 1985 and placed our 4000th Golden during the year 2004.

Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary

Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit volunteer organization with the mission of securing safe, loving homes for displaced or homeless Golden Retrievers. We receive Golden Retrievers from owners who can no longer care for them because of changing circumstances in their lives. We maintain close working relationships with animal shelters in Sacramento, Sutter, Placer, El Dorado and surrounding counties to ensure that Goldens are relinquished to us prior to being euthanized. We also rescue Golden Retrievers found wandering the streets or reported to us by concerned neighbors. We rescue Goldens of all ages, and even mixed Goldens on occasion.

Each rescued Golden immediately receives a thorough exam at one of our participating veterinary hospitals

The Southeastern Virginia (SEVA) Golden Retriever Rescue, Education, and Training

It is a volunteer-staffed, non-profit organization that rescues abandoned and unwanted Golden Retrievers and places them in approved adoptive homes. To date, over 400 Goldens have been rescued and placed.
