    I love this from the sweetest intro picture to your great writing and such fun videos! I have lensrolled Golden Retrievers to my I Want a Dog lens and to my Biscuit My Lovin Pup and Books lens.

    Normally a 'cat' person, I've only owned one dog in my lifetime - a Golden Retriever! He actually adopted us! His name was Baron and he was about 12 when we acquired him. He loved our children, he adopted our new kitten and they used to sleep and play together all the time, and he used to go over to the the nearby grade school on a regular basis for the Kindergarten outdoor recreation time. The school children, and the teachers, all loved Baron. If I ever get another dog, it will definitely be a Golden Retriever. Love your photos in this story.

    I love Golden Retrievers and I think this web site has a lot of info on them. I have a Golden Retriever puppy and the training tips are a grate help to help me train my puppy.

    My dog is a lovable mutt, but I do love Goldens too. (Well, most dogs, really.) I know quite a few Golden Retrievers who are search dogs (I'm a SAR member), and they do a wonderful job. I've never seen a Golden who wasn't a great pet.

    My beautiful Golden Retriever, Bailey, would love this lens and all the puppies ! Great job - you've highlighted the breed perfectly. My pup is the redhead mahogany color - I don't know why the AKC does not recognize this color (in the ring) although she is a purebreed and registered with the AKC - she just lights up in the sun and is gorgeous! 5 Stars!

    Luv golden retrievers. Growing up we had a part samoyed/part golden retriever named Brandy. He was beautiful! In fact, my parents have another dog just like him now, couldn't resist when they found someone who had samoyed/retreiver pups!

    Just so happens the spouse & I have a 100 lb. dark Golden Retriever that is a ribbon winner, CGC (Canine Good Citizen) titled, TDI (Therapy Dog International) titled, and to me he is definitely one of the best companion animals anyone could want. Definitely an ace dog, and this is an ace lens.

    Nice work on the history and information on The Golden Retriever. We had a neighbor with one. He and my dog Buddy were best friends. They are beautiful and smart dogs.

    Excellent Lens on an excellent breed. I have many dogs in my life and this is the first Golden I have owned and would never switch to another breed again.

    Beautiful breed. Our neighbors had a reddish golden who was the gentlest, wisest soul. He passed on a couple years ago, and we miss him so much.

    Retrievers are very smart dogs, and they simply love the water. I had one when I was 25. He was sweet and very protective.

    Great lens on a great breed of dog. We had 3 wonderful goldens when our kids were growing up. I never knew the complete history of the breed so thank you for the education. We have a wonderful Choclate Lab, "Gus" now and he is a real gem also. 5*

    As my dog grows ready to die, I've wondered if I will get another one. I'm not sure I'm up for another puppy. This tempts me. Goldens are honorable dogs. ***** and a favorite

    I currently have 2 goldens but altogether I have had 7 so obviously I think they are great! They are beautiful, smart, playful, loyal and loving...who could ask for more than that. (:

    It's hard to beat a golden retriever puppy for cuteness - unless it's a border collie pup. :) I've had both. 5*

    We've got Siberian Husky as well. Golden Retriever is more family dog, still beautiful though! I'm reading now Dean Koontz "The darkest evening of the year" and the main character owns Golden Retriever' (this dog plays quite important role in that book) .That's a very good read - dark psychological thriller. Great lens. 5*
