Golfers might want to liven up a round with a prank. I've included some classics and some golf gags that may be new to you. A few of these I've experienced myself.

If you live next to a golf course, golfers will sometimes hit their ball into your yard. It can be fun to place a permanently attached golf ball as a decoy where they will find it fairly easily. They'll be surprised when they try to pick it up and find that it is cemented to your patio or attached to a spike that's driven into your lawn. You'll enjoy some smiles seeing the golfer eagerly reach for "his" ball, only to find out that it's all a joke.

Here's an easy golf prank to play on a friend...

Imagine your golf buddy's surprise when he tries out this new ball that you're recommending. Tell him you are getting amazing distance with this brand and he/she will be anxious to try it. When it explodes as the club hits it, you'll have a good laugh at the look on his face.

There are a number of variations on this, so check out the one that you think will be the biggest hit or get a variety so you can surprise him again but with a different gag ball.

Flat on Top Tees

the ball falls right off

Tees normally have a slight cupping on the top for the curve of the golf ball. These flat top tees don't look that different, but are absolutely impossible to use.

I fell victim to this prank, when I picked up a tee that was lying on the tee box. It took me several tries for me to realize that there was something wrong with the tee. Sprinkle a few of these around the tee box and see what happens.
