Looking For A Great Gift Idea For A Golfer Who Loves Golf Vacations?

Golf vacations are extremely popular now, and so many golfers are going on a golf vacation. But how easy is it to travel with golf clubs?

It's not easy finding great gift ideas for a golfer

Looking for a great gift idea for a golfer? Does he/she love to play golf and to travel and play as well?

It's not easy to find gifts for a golfer, they have lots of golf stuff usually because it's their passion and their hobby.

I've written lately about a good gift idea for a golfer. That's custom logo golf balls, because I think personalized golf balls make a great gift idea. Even if someone has given him a packet of personalized golf balls already they won't be the same as the ones you're going to give him. So yours will still be special.

How about a golfers travel case for their golf clubs?

Here's another idea that I think is well worth considering if you really want to find a good golfing gift idea for a man or woman who travels and plays. A golf travel case.

Golfing holidays and golfing vacations are a real growth area for golfers and golf companies. There are now so many opportunities to play golf in some exotic locations on some exotic golf courses, all on vacation. All the wants and needs of the travelling golfer are taken care of.

But of course he's got to have his clubs with him. There's no way he's going to rent clubs if he's a serious golfer. However travelling with golf clubs is a little of a problem.

A golf bag is heavy, bulky and clumsy, and you can't really just zip it up and stick it on the plane. Well you can but if you do you run the risk of loss of your clubs or damage to them, and there's lots of horror stories of golfers getting off the plane to find that their favorite driver is broken, or clubs gone, or golf balls disappeared, or something else gone wrong.

No he needs a good golfers travel bag to protect his bag and clubs inflight. One which is strong, and which can be locked. One which will protect his clubs when that careless baggage handler throws them right on top of that sharp object.

You CAN get these types of travel case. They're called hard golfers travel cases and are usually made of some hard plastic like molded polyethylene which is virtually indestructible. The best ones can even come with complimentary insurance against damage to the clubs inflight, because they are so good.

They are lockable with good quality locks and have little wheels to allow him to pull his clubs when walking through the airport or hotel lobby rather than carry them along with all the rest of his luggage.

Cheaper but also useful are soft golfers travel cases. These are cheaper and easier to store, but do not offer the same protection as a hard travel case. They aren't ideal for plane travel but if he's just off for a few trips in the car they may well do the job.

So if your man is a golfer and he loves to travel, and you need to find a great golfing gift idea for him, (or her) then consider Golf Travel Cases. They cost way less than replacing a set of golf clubs, and give him peace of mind on the flight.
