Golfers don't need to run when they hear the term golf weight training program. But... if you ignore this, you'll never achieve the kind of driving distance you know you're capable of because your golf swing requires a higher level of golf-specific strength, which can only be attained by weight training for golf.
I advise golfers all the time to inform them they do NOT need to have a gym membership to do their golf weight training program. If fact, they only need a couple of very inexpensive items that can easily be stored when not using.
