Ranked #49,611 in Sports & Recreation, #1,078,301 overall
Welcome to golf equipment and tips. Golf is a great game but can be the most frustrating at the same time. You start of your round with par birdie par and then hook your tee shot on the 4th hole into the woods and end up with a double bogey. You can't figure out how you hit the ball so well before and now your in the woods. You get in a bad mood and your head is not in the right place. Your great round is now turning into a terrible round.
We have all experienced that situation.
In this lens, we are going to give some tips and resources to help you with your game.
Or you can use the advice of Arnold Palmer: "I have a tip that can take five strokes off anyone's golf game: it's called an eraser."

Have a List of Written Guidelines
You have just finished a round a golf and you are wondering what was the cause of your problems on the course today.
One big problem that most people have comes from the way they were holding their clubs.
We have all been in this situation.
You hit a bad shot and then you tell yourself that the next shot has to be better to make up for the poor shot and know you have put too much pressure on yourself.
Since we have put too much pressure on ourselves we have a tendency to grip the clubs too hard.
A tight grip on the club can cause you to lose control of your swing.
The ball starts flying in all directions, and the tension builds ever more, you are swearing like a sailor and your face is now red.
Here is a simple tip to avoid becoming a red faced monster on the course.
I had a playing partner who had a simple list of instructions that he would read when his game started to fall apart and at the top of that list was 'don't strangle the clubs'
It's simple and we all know about it, but this visual reminder was all that it would take to get his game back on course and ensure that the tension wasn't there in the rest of his game.
This technique of having written guidelines was so powerful that several other people started using it.
It was like having your own personal golf pro walking with you and giving you the necessary instructions when things started to go wrong.
Those words would allow him to focus on the next shot and release all the tension that would have otherwise crept into his game.
Try carrying your own list of 'game savers' around with you next time and don't hesitate to read them at the first sign your game might be falling apart.
It is an incredibly powerful technique.

- Thanks for the great article Pete. I'd definitely recommend getting a Golf GPS Rangefinder to improve your game. I read tonnes of Golf GPS Reviews and finally settled on the Garmin S1 golf watch. Dead simple to use and gives you all the info you need.

- There are lots of places selling golf equipment and
golf clubs online - with a bit of shopping around, you can find the best prices.
In my experience, Onlinegolf offer competitive prices, but also have a loyalty points section as well, which is an added bonus!
Happy golfing!

- Hi, Nice Lens. When you get ready. Come and play golf at Hua Hin Golf Courses. Hua Hin, a charming town of clean white sandy beach, is the most popular golf holidays destination in Thailand.
