Don't you just love golfing getaways? Now I must be honest at this point and say the while I love golfing getaways the golf is not the most significant part. Actually it is my wife who is the golfer and I am the golf widower.When we look for golfing getaways we also look at the other ?off course? facilities to a great extent, she has her pleasure on the course and I have other hobbies. 3.Ensure that you pack different types of clothing for your golfing breaks - both the weather and 'circumstances' can change. We once travelled to the south of France and were thankful that we had packed sweaters and waterproofs. On another golfing getaway while playing a course outside of London we were invited to a society wedding and were glad that we had packed formal outfits , something we did not normally do for our impromptu golfing breaks. Always take earplugs on a golfing getaway
4.If you are going with a group of guys and are sharing rooms on your golfing getaway take ear plugs. Someone will snore, probably you, and you don't want to keep yourself awake! BEsides if you are close to the airport or just above the hotel disco you may get some sleep. Why not treat yourself to a new golf bag in readiness.

5. Do not over indulge too early in your golfing getaways - by this I mean with food, alcohol and of course the golf. 6. Try to vary the location of your golfing getaways - especially if you have a non-golfing partner. While you and your buddies may enjoy tramping over the same ground the same hotel room and area can be a chore. A non- golfing partner will usually be very happy if they have a different location to explore previous golfing getaways. Personally I have never been one for repeated visits to holiday locations.
