    The long irons are definetly hard to hit because with the mid and short irons you take a bigger divot and with the long irons you have to take a small divot and more of a sweeping of the ball. Try and take a slow, smooth swing when starting with the long irons to get the feel of them.

    Hi I am a better than average golfer and have a 12 handicap . I have not really needed to many golf swing drills for my irons but use a lot of putting drills like the ones I have found at http://www.golfdrillsputting.com and more I ad weekly to http://www.golfswingproducts.com I think as long as you keep playing and practicing you will get better it has always helped me even just reading all the great informatin I find on most golf squidoos and golf hubpages.
