Lake Jovita's South Course designed by 2006 Ryder Cup Captain Tom Lehman and golf course architect Kurt Sandness, has been rated in the top-ten by Golf Digest. The Par 5-11th hole (pictured above) features a 94-foot drop from tee to green, the largest natural elevation change of any course in the state of Florida.

Lake Jovita's North Course is a little more contemporary in style, designed by architect Kurt Sandness, the North Course has even greater elevation changes than the South; providing golfers with positively incredible views of our scenic community.

Club Renaissance - Sun City

Club Renaissance is actually a pretty nice golf course located in Sun City. Even though Sun City is thought of as a Seniors Only area just east of Tampa this course will suit all ages.
I've have now played Renaissance a number of times and the one thing I can always count on is top conditions. The course always seems to be in very good shape. Lush fairways and smooth greens.

There are 6 sets of tees to accomadate all player abiltiy levels. Yardage ranges from 4651 yds from the forward ladies tees back to 6701 yds from the gold markers.

This Chip Powell design has a few really nice holes. You are started off easy enough with a simple short par 4. In my opinion the best holes on the front side are the par 5 3rd that turns right around a large pond off the tee and the par 3 7th. The 7th is a nasty par 3 from the back tees. Long over 220 yds with a pretty undulating green.
The back side plays a little tighter than the front. Number 12 is a great par 3. Playing anywhere from 145 to 165 yds, this island green will test your nerves.

If you are in the area and you want to play a course that asks for more creativity than distance then I would recommend Club Renaissance.
