You will need
- a piece of PCV pipe about 1 meter long and about 2cm is diameter
- 2 mini torches to fit in the 2cm ends of the PVC piping (cheep as chips on eBay etc.)
Directions for making the golf teaching tool
Install the torches into each end of the PVC pipe. There are a couple of ways to do this, if the torch fits snug in the piping you can simply use araldite or some type of adhesive to glue the torches in. If the torch is slightly bigger than the pipe heat the end of the piping with a heat gun and install the torch. When the PVC cools make sure the torch is stuck securely. You have now created your golf teaching tool.
How to use the golf teaching tool
By now you may be wondering what the hell this stick is for well the exercise is quiet simple. Turn the torches on and hold PVC as though it were one of your golf clubs, stand facing parallel to a wall with the bottom light shining on the join were the floor meets the wall. This join acts as a nice straight line; we will call the bottom light A and the top one B.
Swing the club back so light A shines along line until the stick is parallel with the line. Cock your wrists taking note of light B, this light should now be shining along the line. At the top of your swing light B should still be pointing to the line this is the correct position to start you're down swing.
Pull down with your wrists to start the down swing, light B should be shining along the line once again. As you release though were the ball would be light A should shine along the line, keep the light shining along line for as long as possible then, finish with your follow through.
This exercise should be done very slowly for a start, as you feel more comfortable speed up a little, but don't get sloppy make sure you keep the lights shining alone the line. This golf teaching tool is fantastic in my opinion, it's a great exercise for both beginners and advanced golfers. If you practice this until it becomes habit you will be hitting the ball straighter and longer as this exercise teaches you to release your power where you should be, at impact.

Golf Teaching Tools
The golf swing is notoriously difficult to master, yet so easy to imitate. And that is the best first step in learning how to swing. It is by watching how textbook golfers swing a round. That's why it is often recommended that you don't look at poor golf shots; unknowingly it might seep into your system.
The key is practice. Just like any other acquired skill, golf swing is a product of countless of enduring and lackluster practice. Practice is inevitable, there's no way to sidestep it. But you can lessen the time needed for you to take the mantle of a professional golfer, or golf swinger at least. You can effectively do this by using Golf Teaching Tools.
A golf teaching tool comes in several formats and with diverse innovative teaching methods. Here are some of the most noteworthy ones:
Golf Dust's Golf Impact Indicator
Golf Dust's Golf Impact Indicator is a spray on substance that allows you to monitor the hits or impacts you made. Before you commence your stroke, you spray a thin coating material on the clubface. After which you can check how accurate the shots were by checking where the golf ball made connected to the face and then adjusting such things as posture, grip and swing. There are several variations of golf impact indicator and another variation is the Golf Impact Indicator Tape, although Gold Dust remains the leading golf impact indicator.
Golf Dust is at $16.45 USD at www.golfdust.com. The 2.70 oz can is enough for approximately 150 applications.
The Super Swing Trainer is a golf teaching tool that helps you develop and master a better plane swing. By having a guide as you practice your swing, in no time consistent golf swings will almost be automatic. It's an excellent golf swing tutor for almost all swing forms. This golf teaching tool costs $159.99 at www.superswingtrainer.com
Rick Smith's Golf Gloves
Rick Smith's Golf Gloves is a toning glove suitable for grip consistency. Bracing your wrists to proper attitude, it allows fuller wrist action which in turn allows swing finesse and hence better ball delivery.
This golf teaching tool costs $36.95 and can be worn even during your regular play. Get it at www.birdieball.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=154

Better Than Buying Another Golf Teaching Tool, Consult A Golf Pro!
You Might Get Worse
According to most golf experts, using a golf teaching aid without knowing what the cause of your problem is (rather than the symptom, like a slice) can be counterproductive. You may end up correcting something that wasn't the problem and then you end up with multiple problems and one symptom, which will just make it harder for you to make more corrections.
The Pros Stay Simple
If you go to any golf school or watch any lesson, you will see very few golf teaching aids being used. That is because when it is all said and done, most teaching pros like to keep things simple. They see the claims made by the makers of golf teaching aids and realize that they are either outrageous or will only work on certain users.
Golf teaching aids are a tempting purchase. You want to get better and you may even be having a problem that you just can't shake. The truth is that some of the golf teaching aids are good and do work, but you should consult with your local pro first so that you aren't spending money on something that will just hurt you in the end.
