In 1996, we walked a practice round of the U.S. Open at Oakland Hills Country Club, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
The atmosphere was electric. The best golfers in the world competing at the highest level.
Steve Jones was later crowned the eventual champion. He had an incredible golf story. He suffered ligament damage to his left ring finger from a dirt bike accident in 1991. His long comeback complete by hoisting up the U.S. Open Championship Trophy.
We will attend another U.S. Open in the years ahead and will enjoy watching the best play the best.

- Tiger was playing great in that tournament even with injuries. So congratulation to Tiger and hopefully he will come back even better after his surgery. And congratulation to you too for being a new Giant squid.
