Good Intentions Do Become Actions

My Story
Staying connected with others is paved with good intentions. Here's how I found the solution to easily staying connected with the Power of the Card. You need to only use the internet, and utilize the "right" moment.
Whether you want to say hello, or I'm thinking of you; whether you want to say congratulations - or I'm sorry, there are ways to show people you have taken the time to care - connect - and celebrate life's big and not so big moments.

The joy of sending greeting cards
My aging mother-in-law doesn't get out much anymore. I am touched when she shows me a card that someone sent her. It might be just a simple "hello," or an "I'm keeping you in prayer," but she proudly shows it to me every time. I seldom hear about phone calls. There is something about a card - a simple verse, a personal message, and a picture. It's like a comforting story that can be read over and over and shared with others. Whenever she needs a little lift, a reminder that someone cares, she looks at her cards.
Piles of Good Intentions
Since I design and sell cards, you would think it's easy for me. But, no. I have shoeboxes and baskets full of good cards, full of good intentions. Like you, they remain unfinished...unsent.
Why is that?
When we need a card, (at the last minute, of course), we run to the store and hunt for just the right one. Finding that "right" one is only the beginning. Once back home, we need to grab that spare moment to write a message, look up the address, and mail it. How often we get distracted, losing the card-sending moment. The card remains in our "to do" basket...unfinished...unsent.
Next, we try the "have it on hand" trick. When we are at a card shop, we take advantage of the convenience, and purchase several cards for approaching occasions. Now, we feel in control! Checking it off of our to do list, we sit back proudly.
Now, an occasion is approaching. It's back on our "to do" list. We still need to personalize and sign the card, hunt through our address book, address the envelope, put the stamp on, and take the card to the mailbox. More "to do's" make this wonderful connection with someone feel like a chore. A chore that has to be checked off, with a "whew" when it's done. That very personal, very real connecting moment is lost.
I, yes, even I, the greeting card queen, needed a better system. A way to make the connection more fun - less chore.
Creating my online greeting card store
In other words, a joyful place where I can reach out and connect with others through the power of the card. A joyful place where good intentions become actions.
I finally created that. My online greeting card store became that joyful place. That place where good intentions do become actions.
