Looking for a good computer for college?
If you are getting ready to go to college, or are looking for a gift for someone who is preparing to go to college, then check out this page to get some great ideas about good laptops for college students. Some laptops are junk. However, here are a few nice ones. I know that finding computers can be difficult. Here I will compare the specs and features so you can compare apples with apples and find a nice computer.

How to choose a laptop for college
1. Budget : This could make a difference in your choice of a computer. Think about how much you have to spend on a computer. Remember, though, that you get what you pay for. If you only budget for a very small amount, don't expect an amazing computer. Get what you can afford, preferably spending at least $700 for a computer. That should get a nice one that will last you all four years.
2. Major : Depending on what your major is, you may need a Mac. If you going into a certain course, especially relating to graphic design, then you will need to get a Mac. Check with your college. Regardless of your major, always remember to check with your college and make sure that your computer will be compatible on campus.
3.How long you want it to last: If you want a computer to last for a while, then be willing to pay the price for that. Quality is not cheap in computers.
