Prudence and the Patriotic Spirit

"I wisdom dwell with prudence and find out knowledge of witty inventions"
Proverbs 8:12

Prudent defined: An adjective, meaning: acting with or showing care and thought for the future.

The FUTURE

Prudence, it is a needed perspective in what is growing to be an irrational world at times. Speaking out is essential, but for many reasons has become untempered and oft times without true knowledge of the issues at hand. A little prudence should be taken and I think knowledge would then be better defined.

"It behooves a prudent person to make trial of everything before arms."
Jean Racine

What is going on? Do YOU wonder? Cause I sure do.

"Life has no blessing like a prudent friend."
Euripides

Ever had an argument about politics with a "friend"? How did it turn out? Are you still friends? Will it ever be the same?

"Few things are brought to a successful issue by impetuous desire, but most by calm and prudent forethought."
Thucydides

Do you respect others rights to have their own viewpoint and personal understanding of political issues? Can you? Do your views fly out of your mouth without care? Do you think you know it all?

I confess that at times I have thought I knew it all. I've felt that the other person did not know the "real" truth.

"Nothing is more dangerous than a friend without discretion; even a prudent enemy is preferable."
Jean de La Fontaine

I confess that at times I have thought I knew it all. I've felt that the other person did not know the "real" truth.

"All government, indeed every human benefit and enjoyment, every virtue, and every prudent act, is founded on compromise and barter."
Edmund Burke

Take PAUSE I tell myself now.. at this moment, and I hope that I remember that, that I hold that close to my heart, and listen to what witty inventions there are for me to find in respecting the rights of others to have their views as well.

"The prudent course is to make an investment in learning, testing and understanding, determine how the new concepts compare to how you now operate and thoughtfully determine how they apply to what you want to achieve in the future."
Dee Hock

AMEN

Amen defined: a noun, meaning. an exclamation uttered at the end of a prayer or hymn, meaning 'so be it.

So be it.

I Wish You Love

I Wish You Love lyrics
(feat. Chris Botti)

I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss
But more than this
I wish you love

And in July a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade
I wish you health
And more than wealth
I wish you love

My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be
So with my best, my very best
I set you free

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all
When snowflakes fall
I wish you love

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all
When snowflakes fall
I wish you love

Write what you will but just remember.. ..

if you are over the top with your comment I will delete it.
