Best Cellulite Treatment
On this Squidoo lens, we will help you find the perfect treatment for your cellulite problem. We'll check out creams, liposuction, non invasive treatments, diets and massage tools...there's something for everyone.
What is Cellulite?
It's an accumulation and swelling of the adipose tissues within the hypodermis or subcutaneous layer of fat under skin. The adipose or fat cells swell, compressing the blood vessels and connective tissue, giving the skin a dimpled appearance.
Cellulite is not related to being overweight. Women of all shapes, sizes and age can have this problem. It is believed to be associated with hormonal activity in the female body or dietary imbalance and may develop irrespective of the total body weight.
Do Creams Get Rid of Cellulite?
Think about it...how on earth can a topical cream/lotion get under your skin to eliminate fat? It can't! Even though they don't minimize fat like we want them to, anti cellulite creams are certainly helpful.
Some creams, lotions and oils on the market include Revitol, ANEW Clinical Lift and Tuck, Avon Super Shape Anti-Cellulite, Hydroderm BodyShape Skin Toning Lotion, Cellulean, Neutrogena Anti Cellulite Retinol Formula, Arbonne Figure 8 Vanish Cellulite, Clarins Total Body Lift, Bliss FatGirlSlim and Ionithermie.

Will Massaging Get Rid of Cellulite?
What About Endermologie?
It takes anywhere from 14 to 18 visits before you start seeing noticeable results. And you must continue with monthly treatments to keep the cellulite hidden. If you discontinue the treatments, the cellulite comes back to the surface of the skin.
More Cellulite Treatment Options...
Here are some more options to consider for your battle against your cellulite!
1. Laser Treatment - A laser is used to break down the fat cells for better circulation. Smoothshapes is a popular laser treatment.
2. Coffee Grounds - Caffeine is the main reason people use coffee grounds to reduce cellulite. It's the main ingredient found in topical creams.
3. Mesotherapy - Injections of homeopathic medicines into the mesoderm or the middle layer of skin. This is supposed to break down the fatty cellulite deposits to improve circulation.
4. Dry Skin Brushing - Use a natural bristle brush or loofah on dry skin right before you shower. This is supposed to stimulate blood flow.
5. Shapewear - Hides the cellulite under your clothes. Temporarily smooths the bumps.
6. Body Wraps - A bandage/wrap is soaked in a special solution and wrapped around problem areas. This is supposed to help draw out toxins and excess fluids in the body. Try creating your own seaweed wrap with a seaweed cream and plastic wrap. This is a great home remedy.

Should I Get Liposuction?
Liposuction is a quick fix for cellulite issues. If you have done everything aside from getting liposuction, then this option may be for you. However, keep in mind that while this procedure may get rid of fat, it is not completely permanent. Cellulite can return if you do not follow through with diet and exercise.
How do I Get Rid of Cellulite?
You'll also need to improve your body's ability to drain unwanted toxins and lymphatic waste, reducing accumulated swelling of the adipose tissues in the thighs and buttocks. A good massage can help improve circulation.
Skin elasticity and tone also needs to be improved. A good cream such as Nivea Good-bye cellulite absorbs into the skin quickly and can help improve the appearance of dimply skin.
A great detox should be added to your cellulite reduction plan as well. Try eating a slice of watermelon daily. It contains fiber, at least a glass of water per slice and helps fight fluid retention. And as always, drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. Water cleanses your system and flushes toxins from body cells.
