My partner was at college in the 1970s when the album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was released. It was one of those albums that had eye catching and iconic sleeve graphics.
The title tune Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is a great track and several singers have done amazing versions of this Elton John Classic. The album is my favourite Elton John Album. It was released in 1973, three years before I was born. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was Elton John's seventh album and to date has sold 31 million copies world wide.
