- Google Groups
- Google groups is the largest collection of USENET postings, and an archive of Google group posts. A great resource for ephemeral information.
- Google Personalised home search page. Store your searches, delete results, add in your own modules and make Google your own.

- A child safe version of the search engine.
- Google Search - Microsoft

- Let Google suggest terms while you're searching
Specific types of searches
Google offers some very specific types of searches, rather than the broader ones that most of us use on the home page. This module lists them.
- Google University Search
- Google's University Search enables you to narrow your search to a specific school website. Try it for things like admissions information, course schedules, or alumni news. US only.
- Google Search - Uncle Sam
- Google with a very specific US bias.
- Google Search - BSD
- A specialised search engine for UNIX stuff.
- Google Image Search
- A couple of billion or so images to look through.
- Google Groups
- A great place to look through USENET newsgroups and Google groups. Find grey material, check out hoaxes, find out what an error message means, see what people are talking about now.

Google labs and utilities
Google provides users with a great many different utilities to enhance their search experience. They also like playing around with things as well. This module links to those.
