Paris, France - A Guide

The capital city of France is the famous city of Paris. Paris is located in north-central France on the banks of the lovely Seine river. The population of Paris is estimated at around 2.2 million people. The urban area of Paris which stretches well past the boundaries of the city has an estimated population of around 10 million people. Paris has earned nicknames such as the City of Lights and the City of Love.

Aside from being a leading city when it comes to business, politics and cultural activity Paris is also renowned for its arts, fashion and of course food. Also in Paris you will find a very active nightlife, some wonderful museums and amazing architecture. When people think of Paris there is one main symbol which springs to mind which is the Eiffel Tower. In regards to tourism Paris is actually the worlds most visited city attracting yearly more than 30 million visitors.
