This is one of the recipe books that I use the most. It has great recipes and easy explanations from Gordon. If you want to make your cooking rise to the next level and want to get your family to enjoy eating at home more then this is the cook book for you.

What are my favorites from the Gordon Ramsay Makes it Easy book? One thing that I make most often is the brocolli soup recipe - so simple but has an amazing taste. Who knew that broccoli could make such a special dish?
Other favorites are the Butternut Squash Pizza, Gordon's Fish Pie, Chicken Casserole,and Braised Beef Shank. For dessert try the Hot Chocolate Fondant - a perfect chocolate dessert with a light sponge with a melting chocolate center.
Another favorite is the Just For Kids section. Perfect to get the children interested in cooking.

What is the Gordon Ramsay Story?
Born in Scotland Gordon Ramsay's first ambition was to play professional football. His dreams were dashed by injury and he turned to the challenging world of the professional kitchen.In 1995, at the young age of twenty-eight he was awarded his first Michelin star at the restaurant Aubergine in London. It took him just two years to be awarded his second star. An amazing achievement at such a young age.
All was not smooth sailing and his relationship with Aubergine ended abruptly.
Gordon set up his first solely owned restaurant, named, Gordon Ramsay. He was still only 31. On 19th January 2001 Gordon Ramsay was awarded his much coveted third Michelin Star. He had desperately wanted this in the year 2000 but it was not to be.
Since that time Chef Ramsay has built up the Gordon Ramsay Holdings empire of restaurants and media activity. Ramsay has confounded his critics and proved that quantity has not been to the detriment of quality. Gordon Ramsey now has restaurants in London, Dubai, and New York and Los Angeles.

How Did Gordon Ramsay Rise To Fame?
Next came Faking It. The idea was that he would help train a complete novice to become a chef within 30 days. It was a difficult task - the trainee was more used to flipping burgers, and he had to be plausible enough to pass off as a professional chef in front of a panel of experts. Thanks in the main to Gordon's coaching he succeeded.
Faking it was sold to the US and Chef Ramsay started getting interest from US producers. Ultimately this was the start of Hell's Kitchen. There had been a similar format in Britain where Gordon presided over a kitchen full of competing celebrities. Although it was a success he was not entirely happy with the format. Out of this the US Hell's Kitchen was born - unknowns compete for a chance to run a professional kitchen.

This is a complete Gordon Ramsey 10-piece cookware set; with 10- and 8-inch fry pans, 3- and 1-1/2- quart saucepans with lids, 4-quart sauté with lid, and 8-quart stockpot with lid.
Gordon Ramsay Stainless Steel Cookware
All the saucepans in the Chef Ramsay cookware set feature a tri-layer construction. They have a brushed 18/10 stainless-steel exterior, the first layer, combats dents, rust, and corrosion over the years.
Beneath the exterior layer, an aluminum core assists in heat conduction and even distribution. The interior layer employs nonporous 18/10 stainless steel to prevent residual stains and odors. All round rims enable pouring from any side.
To transport the pans, hollow stainless-steel handles are securely riveted to the pans' sides, equipped with hanging holes. The sauté pan also bears a loop-style helper handle. Two stainless-steel loop handles adorn the sides of the stockpot. Stainless-steel lids contain flavor and expedite cooking. Chefs remove the lids by their riveted stainless-steel loop handles.
Oven- safe, the cookware set sustains temperatures up to 500 degrees F.

Dillons, the Indian, American, seemed to be trying to be everything restaurant?I have all of the episodes but I have to say that this one really shocked me! It seriously made me think more than twice about my choice of restaurants when eating out!
More classic Chef Ramsay who is always prepared to actually get down and do some hard work! Amusing but scary was the vegetarian starter with meat in it, and the unidentifiable meat which even Gordon couldn't identify!

- I love watching Chef Ramsey on "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares", he is a real character. I haven't tried any of his recipes yet, but I will soon because they look really good.
