I have to say, though I have not met him personally, Gordon Ramsey seems top embody the passion I felt when I started my cooking career. I was lucky enough to work with another prominent chef and friend of Gordons from Le Gavroche, Chef Stephen Dogherty MOGB, for 18 months in his (Stephen's) pub restaurants in '97 and '98. That experience at Stephen's left an impression that to this day, has guided me not only in my career but in my personal life as well. To me, the kitchen is a place of great diversity, which ignites competition that fuels creativity.
