What I really like about this book is that it combines the Ramsay talent for putting together great recipes, with a simple and healthy style. As Ramsay himself says he doesn't want to cut out butter and cream completely, but just only use it where it is really needed to enhance flavour.
I love the Sweet Potato Frittata with Tomato Salsa, Baked Courgette and Wild Mushroom Risotto and Pasta With Quick Tomato Sauce.
This Gordon Ramsay healthy cook book is divided into 9 sections: Breakfast, Brunch/lunch, Working Lunch,Sunday Lunch,barbecues, suppers, kids, entertaining and desserts.

This Gordon Ramsay recipe book does exactly what it says in the title - Chef Ramsay really does make it easy to make these recipes on a daily basis. Gordon Ramsay Makes It Easy is one of my favorite Ramsay recipe books. Simple to follow, great recipes and great instructions from Gordon Ramsay.
This is probably the recipe book that I use the most. It has great recipes and easy explanations from Gordon. If you want to make your cooking rise to the next level then this is the one for you.

As usual from Chef Ramsay's cookbooks, the recipes are well written,easy to follow, and have great pictures.
Gordon always explains things easily and simply - and his recipes always work.
What are my favorites from the Kitchen Heaven book? One thing that I make most often is the brocolli soup recipe - so simple but has an amazing taste. Gordon's recipe uses fresh broccoli and you put soft goat cheese and almonds on the top of the soup. An amazing combination.
Other stand out recipes are the Butternut Squash Pizza, Gordon's Fish Pie, Chicken Casserole,and Braised Beef Shank. For dessert try the Hot Chocolate Fondant - a perfect chocolate dessert with a light sponge with a melting chocolate center. There is also a great Just For Kids section - perfect to get the children interested in cooking.

Gordon Ramsay helps save struggling restaurants
Fox has announced that Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare's will return for a second season this fall. So watch out for more of the distinctive Chef Ramsay style, when he sets out to help restaurants turn the corner and become successful.
If you want the UK original version of the series then there is a DVD available. The UK Kitchen Nightmares series has been shown on BBC America. I have watched all the episodes may times and have enjoyed each one of them. The UK version is very different from the US show. Gordon Ramsay himself does the voice overs for the episodes and I prefer this. If you are a Gordon Ramsay fan you will enjoy this!

Check out this Gordon Ramsay fast food recipe book - excellent recipes from the F Word series. He had a challenge on the series that he would show people he could cook a meal more quickly than they could have a take out delivered. Chef Ramsay always proved the point of course!

Another one of my favorite Chef Ramsay cook books. The chapters include shellfish, fish,poultry and game,meat, pasta and rice,vegetables, eggs, fruit,breads pastries and cakes, stocks sauces and dressings.
Why do I like this Chef Ramsay recipe book in particular? For a start it is visually stunning - the photos are beautiful. Ramsay makes the recipes easy but you will get restaurant quality results.
Favorite Chef Ramsay recipes from this book? Difficult to choose but probably filet mignon with wild mushrooms, eggs benedict with minted hollandaise, pan fried salmon in a red wine sauce, and chocolate truffle ravioli.

Healthy Appetite is the newest Gordon Ramsay cook book. This is a particular favorite of mine. Firstly it is a great recipe book with an emphasis on healthier, lighter recipes using seasonal produce. Secondly I bought it just after enjoying a meal in Gordons restaurant Plane Food which is located in the new Terminal 5 of Heathrow airport!
If you are looking for the usual Ramsay style with some great recipes then this is probably my current favorite.

This is not a Gordon Ramsay recipe book for the beginner cook. This book showcases some amazing recipes which Gordon uses in his own restaurants. These are the actual restaurant versions of the recipes and are definitely complex.
But I would highly recommend it for the more advanced home chef. The book itself is beautiful - definitely a coffee table book.

I love to watch him on BBC America. He is the only TV chef who is always telling people to buy locally produced food or better yet grow it yourself. I moved to a town with a chicken plant the workers who work at that factory won't eat packaged chicken and drive 20 miles to buy a live one. Besides that salmoneilla on your tomatoes...really?? I've started raising my own chickens (25) and am working on doing more. Keep up the good work Chef. Oh and by the way even though I'm a lady his language doesn't bother me I'm married to a former sailor and was raised by Army and Marine Vets. Maybe you more delicate flowers should watch Rachel Ray she's never had a potty mouth or a complicated thought.

I doubt he is the best chef in the world mainly because highly successful business people realize somebody out there can do it better and thus go hire them. He obviously gets his time is better spent building his brand and thus the marketing is more important than the product itself. He is no doubt the most entertaining chef in the world!

Top chefs need to encourage young people into the kitchen and develop their skills in a professional manner. Using foul language may make great tv ratings but possibly to the detriment of potential young chefs who will be lost to the industry.

Great lens on the man whom I would agree is the world's top chef at the moment. Strange that Gordon Ramsay and I have the same Christian name, both originate from West Central Scotland, both support the same football (soccer) team in Glasgow Rangers, both now live in London, are very close to being the same age and both love cooking - our temperaments, however, I am glad to say, are quite different!
