I have personally made the Beef Wellington for a restaurant that I used to work in. An amazing dish that made that business a lot of money. Nothing but the best from Chef Ramsay.
  • MartinPrestovic Apr 7, 2010 @ 8:55 pm | delete
Favourite Gordon Ramsay recipe? His honey roasted duck - the best duck recipe I've ever tried.

I am a big fan. I enjoy his show and I enjoy his cooking very much. He does swear a lot, maybe that's his way of entertaining people or maybe that's just how he express himself. I know a lot of people who swears but they are good people and have not done anyone wrong.
  • momto4 Dec 28, 2009 @ 4:46 pm | delete

I've heard of him but that's about as far as it goes. That Fast Food cookbook looks like something that might just work for me, as I don't have much patience for cooking. It's funny, I used to cook quite a bit when we grew most of our own food, but now that we aren't gardening, I'm much less motivated. Maybe I'll have to check out some of those fast and easy (and hopefully healthy) recipes.
  • Artemus-Gordon Aug 26, 2009 @ 4:07 pm | delete
Gordon Ramsey is an amazing chef! Plus watching him on Hells Kitchen each season and seeing him bring out the best in a young chef makes for some good tv.

    Excellent work EverythingMouse!

I really liked this lens. I really think Chef Ransey is a brilliant chef. He has proved that over and over. But there are some other chefs that are at least as good as he is. I also think Emarald is a brilliant chef in his own way. They are both very successful.

They are both rich. Both at least making six or seven figures a year. I didn't want to forget congradulations on making top 100 lenses. Keep it going!

He may well be one of the finest chefs in the world but I can't stand the man on television - at least on UK television. He does nothing but swear, using the F word continuously. I don't really, therefore, have a favourite Ramsay recipe. Great 5* lens though!
    Mike.

Really nice lens. 5***** well deserved. I like Gordon Ramsay, he knows what he is doing in the kitchen. I wonder how much of his attitude is purely for the cameras though - probably all of it :)

The Sweet Potato Frittata with Tomato Salsa sounds really good.

Great lens on the man whom I would agree is the world's top chef at the moment. Strange that Gordon Ramsay and I have the same Christian name, both originate from West Central Scotland, both support the same football (soccer) team in Glasgow Rangers, both now live in London, are very close to being the same age and both love cooking - our temperaments, however, I am glad to say, are quite different!

The thing I admire most about Gordon Ramsay is his energy. Does he never get tired? His enthusiasm is amazing, if more people had his 'get up and go' the world would be a better place. cookalike.com

I love Gordon Ramsay and his shows. As an amature Chef I appreciate his insight to running a restaurant and will incorporate them in mine. What Gordon really needs to do is to buy one of my cutting boards for each of his chefs in every kitchen.
