Sculptures, Architecture, Painting and Stained Glass

Germany, my homecountry, is full of churches and cathedrals with Gothic Art. Gothic Art was created first in France and then moved to Germany.

If anyone asks me what Gothic Art is I say:

Gothic Art you can see with your own eyes very well if you visit one of our famous cathedrals: look at the wonderful sculptures you can find on their walls; then enter the cathedrals and look at the colorful stained glass windows which explained the narratives of the bible to the common people which could not read at that time.
And of course, you will find Gothic Art paintings in one of our many museums.

Stained glass, as an art form, reached its height in the Middle Ages when it became a major pictorial form and was used to illustrate the narratives of the Bible to a largely illiterate populace.
