2. Blueberries - Like cherries blueberries also contain anthocyanins which are natural anti-inflammatory substances. Having blueberries will reduce the frequency and severity of gout attacks.
3. Bananas - this fruit is not always not mentioned as a remedy for gout, but it contains potassium which break up acid crystals which in turn enables the kidneys to eliminate excess uric acid. Having the right level of potassium in your body will help reduce gout attacks.
4. Lime - squeezing half a lime into a glass of drinking water twice daily will help as well. Citric acid acts as a solvent of the uric acid which makes it easier to flush out of the body.
