Government Auctions

You can get some great deals on automobile auctions run by the various branches of the United States Government. They have many names, such as treasury auction, federal auctions, police auctions, impound auctions, and the vehicles sold are government fleet vehicles, retired government vehicles, seized cars, impounded cars, drug cars, drug dealer cars, drug runner cars, and so much more. The important thing is that you can buy cars for a lot less than their actual value.

Government Auctions Of Fleet Cars

The United States Government maintains huge fleets of vehicles for their agencies to use to conduct government business. These vehicles are well maintained, and kept in top condition. When they get a couple of years old, they are sold off, and replaced with a brand new model. The older ones are sent to a public auction, where you can bid on them. They are sold on the spot for the amount of the highest bid, no matter haw much lower it is than the cars value. Some very nice vehicles have sold for only a couple of hundred dollars, this is the exception rather than the rule, but it has happened. Another great thing is that you have no dealer markup to pay, which has been known to be 100% to 200% of the value of the car.
