I have been fortunate to have received free money to pay for my education.

No, I wasn't very smart either. I was a C+ student for the most part. I did have friends that received millions in available money to pay for all of their college education. The only reason they got so much is that they knew where to look and applied for hundreds of different offers.

I soon learned from their example and found that I was receiving money for the simple reason that no one else applied for it. It wasn't a lot at first but it was still free.

A few years later when I was in the middle of my college education I found out that I qualified to receive federal grant money and I began receiving large amounts of money every semester.

When I decided that I wanted to travel and see another country I started looking into the Universities exchange program and I applied for a scholarship that a teacher told me about. I was taking a class about medical anthropology and was going to do a field study so I applied for a medical scholarship that was available not thinking that I had a chance, but to my amazement I received it.

Not only that I applied for a $5000 national scholarship that I didn't think I had a chance to get and about two weeks into my exchange program I received notice that I was granted the $5000 dollars. I now had a total of over $10,000 to live on in Mexico. That was the greatest 8 months of my life, and all for free.

Now that I have an idea for a business I am going to be applying for Government Grants For Small Businesses.
