SOOOOOO Funny!!!!
Star Trek: The Sexed Generation
This is an expansion of a short set of clips that Gene Roddenberry had put together after the second season, that set was just about 2 minutes and mostly bloopers, but the few suggestive shots were enough to make me wonder what a full version would look like, so enjoy! Check out the trailer for my new indie feature film SLAYER which was shot for 700 bucks. http://www.itndistribution.com/trailers/slayer2.mov

Tips for putting your video on YouTube
The hard part is getting people to know your video exists
YouTube Tipsby Greg Cryns
1. You need people to to be aware of your video
It's one thing to make a video and put it up on YouTube. It is quite another to get people to know it is there. Chances are slim to none that your video will be featured by YouTube so you need to find other ways to advertise its presence.
One way to get your video "out there" is to create a Squidoo lens for your niche and put your video up on top of your lens. Next use Web 2.0 techniques to spread the word about your video.
Advertise your video on your website. Put it in your blog each time you add a new article there. If your project is big enough and the profit potential is high, be sure to do a press release.
2. Make your video fit into a 5 minute time slot.
Everyone is in a hurry on the Web. Put a lot of planning into the content of your video so that people won't click out after they start watching it. Give your video the PUNCH it needs to keep them interested. Be creative.
Tell your potential viewers that the video is short. Make sure this fact is posted in bold letters
Conclusion: put more time into planning your video and keeping the viewer excited about your content. Don't put your video on YouTube and expect people to know it is there. It is after the video is made that the real work begins.

How To Make A Online Video For YouTube & Google Etc.
Are you interested in making your own videos to upload to YouTube and other online video websites to share with the rest of the internet community? If you are and if this is your first time trying to do so, you may be wondering how you can go about making your own videos. Although the process of making a video for the likes of YouTube may seem like a complicated one, it isn't necessarily. Even those with a low amount of computer knowledge are able to successfully make their own videos, many of which later end up on one of the online video sites like YouTube. The first step in making an online video is to get a video recording device. Video recording devices come in a number of different formats. For instance, it is possible to use cell phones, webcams, or traditional camcorders. If you are interested in using your cell phone to help you make a YouTube video, you will need to make sure that your cell phone has video recording capabilities. You will find that most new, modern cell phones do. For the best quality videos, you want to use traditional camcorders, particularly digital ones, but webcams are also nice low-cost alternatives.
Once you have a video recording device in your possession, you can start to make your own videos. Popular videos on YouTube include video blogs, comedy skits, how-to videos, or travel videos. You can make just about whatever type of video you want, whether it is one that is staged or just recording spur of the moment activities or conversations. When making your video, it is important to remember that YouTube doesn't limit the number of videos you can submit, but all videos must be ten minutes or less, if you have a traditional membership account. Therefore, if you want to have videos be longer than ten minutes, you either need to upgrade your account or make your videos in different segments.
When making your video for YouTube, you will want to make sure that the quality is good. For this, it is a good idea to speak directly into the camera or else use raised voices. This will help to ensure that those watching your videos on can actually understand what you are saying. It is also advised that you make sure the lighting is good. The best time to make movies is during the day.

Using YouTube to Promote Your Book
by Kathryn Lively
These days if I miss something funny or important that was on television I'll think to myself, "I'll look for it on YouTube." This popular site has become so infused with our culture that it seems to have replaced television altogether as a resource for news and entertainment. In today's short-attention, quick-fix society, one needs only to visit YouTube for a three-minute visual rundown of a hit movie, or to catch up on homegrown, underground soap operas created and filmed by regular people with the time and the chutzpah. With Google's recent acquisition of YouTube for over one billion dollars, it goes without saying that this site will prove to be a media powerhouse in the future.Because YouTube is essentially built by registered members who contribute their own video content, it should also be noted that authors can take advantage of the site's popularity and usability to increase their own exposure. Lately, I have noticed authors creating "trailers" to advertise their books and using YouTube for distribution. It may take a bit of work to figure out how to do so, but using YouTube to promote your books can propel an effective word of mouth campaign that draws readers to your book.
YouTube adds dynamic multimedia to your website. One factor that makes YouTube so popular is the ease with which visitors can share favorite videos. Send-to-a-friend links allow one to alert family and friends to must-see clip, while special EMBED HTML code offered by YouTube allows bloggers and site owners to implement videos on their own pages. As YouTube hosts the video, there is no unneccesary uploading of large files to your site. By hosting a book trailer on YouTube, you allow other users to apply codes and showcase your videos throughout the Internet, thereby lending a creative, free advertising campaign for your work.
YouTube enhances the message of your book. While you may offer a compelling blurb, glowing reviews, and attractive cover art on your site, sometimes readers need more to be convinced to make the purchase. Offering a well-designed book trailer for consideration gives your book the star treatment. Mood music, attractive imagery and taglines that sell draw the reader into the short clip and entice them in wanting to learn more about what you have written. Movie companies have drawn many a film buff to the theater based on sixty seconds of a film's premise. It is effective advertising that drives traffic and builds readership.

New Text / Write module
The byline of youtube is youtube-broadcast yourself. If you are looking for something to hang your marketing hat on right now, I suggest you develop an application for youtube. Youtube is really in its infancy.
In a very short time the Internet will be reshaped by video. I predict that it will be necessary to put video on your main page just to keep up with your competition.
Think about it. You can tell people more about your website and your business in a one-minute video than you can in thousands of text words. Instead of taking 15 minutes just to get the rythm of your website, it will take them just one minute or less.
If a picture is worth a 1,000 words, youtube videos are surely worth a 1,000,000 words.

Natural beauty - Butterflies (Song: Any Other Name)
Hi, I had a video I captured of a butterfly from a while ago and it inspired me to make a video for these beautiful delicate creatures. The song I chose was Thomas Newman - 'Any Other Name' which is from the American Beauty Soundtrack. The odd person has been worried about the trapped butterfly and wondered if I rescued it. Just to let yous know that YES of course I did! The poor butterfly flew into my house and got trapped at the living room window. We have 5 cats so it was lucky I was about! I had my camera sitting near by and filmed it for 20 seconds then I opened the window and set it free:)
