There are few runners that run by feel and have a know exactly how far they have gone and how fast they are running.  They may feel that pods, sensors, GPS, etc. are all useless inaccurate gadgets that are expensive and a waste of money. In every training plan there are many key workouts. Each of these workouts is focused on getting a different desired result.
