 FREE AUTHOR CHATS FOR WRITERS

My friend Nikki (on my friend's list) is a life coach for writers.  I never understood why a writer should have a life coach until I met her.  She has a way of finding an extra hour or two to write in everyone's day.   Her ability to help writers learn to meet deadlines is awesome.  Not that this is a new or magic technique.  Isn't this basically what universities do? Train people to succeed? But then - if they did such a great job, why are there so many success coaches helping big CEOs? Nikki is offering tips to help people meet their NaNoWriMo 50 000 word limit.   Anyway, she is going to be at the chat tonight www.inspiredauthor.com/chat/.  Just click the chat button on the homepage and you'll go to the room. It is free and you do not need to register.  Just enter a username and you are there.  The Chat is at 7 Eastern.  I think that is about 4 California time, and about midnight or 12:30 in England.   Next week's chat is going to be from a published writer who also helps host a writer's conference.   November 11's chat will host the 'infamous' author of the Mollycoddle experiment. She started a blog to flesh out her character, and it grew into a cult following who objected violently when they learned that Molly was not real.  However, the experiment was a resounding success.

Please Help Me

I really need to get the hits up on my blog. I would appreaciate it if people just clicked this link and look through a couple posts - nothing for sale. I am a freelance writer, and if I had a lot of hits on this blog over the next couple of weeks, I can use it to make money.

I can use this blog for promotion IF I get enough hits

How To Get Published

How To Get Published

The publishing industry is not the elite, mythical, place that most new writers imagine. It is a market where product is bought and sold. The opportunity of becoming a published author no longer limited to an elite few.

Whether you are looking for a publishing house, want to self publish, or want to publish with a vanity press, this easy to understand, book full of insider information, will help you get published.

This is not another generic, evergreen content book. It contains the tips I learned as senior editor of Novel Writers Magazine and my own experience.

Ebook Self-Publishing

Ebook Self-Publishing

This step-by-step guide will help any writer, even the newest, lay out an ebook like a professional writer. High demand ebooks can provide a solid, passive income, that promotes the author as an industry professional, and helps them launch their career.

I ignored the epublishing for years. Then, I gave it a try. Did you know that 16 million in ebooks were purchased in 2005. Most countries in the world cannot buy books from amazon.com - the only way they get books is through the internet - Ebooks.

Get Paid to Write and Ghostwrite Books

Author Suzanne James

I published a short book to help writers improve their chances of getting paid to write. Not all writers are able to work as freelance writers, bidding on writing jobs, and making a living as writers.

This does not mean that they cannot make money from their writing - years before they receive their first publishing contract. One way is to write short books for sale, and to ghostwrite non-fiction.

Making 'Good' Money Writing and Ghostwriting Books (and ebooks) is a book that tells you how to start a ghostwriting career, and how to get paid to write books. You can buy the PDF version or a Print version. Click Here to buy 'Making Good Money Writing and Ghostwriting Books' Also visit www.novel-writer.com and www.inspiredauthor.com to learn how to get paid to write.

Online Course: Author Self-Promotion
This self-paced, instructor lead, online course is designed to help writers learn the art of self-promotion. Author self-promotion is necessary in today's publishing industry. Writers and published authors must sell their own books, and build careers as professional writers if they want to succeed. Students will learn how to write a press release, build a web site, and write articles, newsletters, and speeches.
Online Course: How to Write a Novel
You are just starting and haven't written anything at all. Maybe you've finished the beginner's course 7 Steps: Writing Your First Novel but do not have the time to complete 20 assignments. Maybe you have written for fun and do not want to turn your hobby into work. Maybe you need help getting your ideas organized or you don't think creative writing should be structured - then this is the course for you. I designed this course for all writers who do not want to turn their passion for writing into a 'job.'
Online Course: How to Write a Query Letter and Synopsis
There are hundreds of courses designed to teach authors how to write a manuscript, but it is almost impossible to find one that will help authors create a proposal, until now. Suzanne James and Lena Robinson have teamed up to bring their experience and knowledge to a course which will give you an advantage over most unpublished authors.

These lessons offer advice to improve writer's prose and style, editing skills, and hints to help you impress an editor, publisher, or agent.
Online Course: How to Write and Edit a Novel
This is a complete instructor-led online writing course. Learn to write, edit, and polish your novel. Cover all the basic elements you need to finish your book, get it past the editors, and get published. Taught by an editor you will improve your writing in weeks. Create better characters and stronger plot lines.
Online Course: How to Write Romance
Suzanne wrote both a historical romance and a romantic suspense novel. To date she only received one rejection letter. Suzanne's novels are known for the characters ability to grow while facing their problems and conflicts, and for the way their relationship grows from one of conflict and strife to a believable pure love. How to fall in love, and what love is, are two topics covered in this course. Writers are taught how to use words and descriptions to show the character's emotions and trigger the reader's emotions. This creates emotional impact.
Online Course: How To Write Your First Novel in 7 Steps
This course will not only teach you how to write your first novel, it will introduce you to the world of writers, authors, and publishing. This Beginners Novel Writing Course is designed for people who have never written a novel.
Online Course: Write Well: Prose to Proofreading
Learn with published authors. Learn from a published author. If you want to be an author, then you need to learn the craft. But, you also need to learn how to write good prose, or the art of writing. Most authors receive rejection letters, because they never study the art of the written word. A writing career is within everyone's grasp. Fame, fortune, and a book on the bestseller's list is hard, but having your first book published is easy
GREAT NEW SCHOOL FOR WRITERS
This is a great new school for writers. Everyone who teaches here has experience and training as an online teacher, is published, and is getting paid as a writer.

The courses are equal to other writing schools that charge as much as $200 for their online coruses. There are no fluff courses here - general 'ever green' courses that teach the same thing as you'll read in a book.
