The Gift That All Graduates Will Love!
I remember when I was graduating from high school and college, I wanted people to give me money. I wanted to pick out the things that I needed and wanted. Our children were the same way. They wanted money more than any other gift so they could do what they wanted with it.
I always disliked giving just money as a gift because it didn't show much thought or creativity and definitely did not seem personal. Well, I finally figured out a way to give both money and a personal gift and I wanted to share my idea with you.

Personalize Your Gift Of Money For Graduation

That's right! You can make that gift of a check or cash seem personal by selecting a special bank for the graduate. You can even get a small brass plaque from your jewelry store and have it engraved with the graduates name, date of graduation and the school he or she is graduating from. It might even be possible to find a bank that you can hand paint their name and information.
Also a new wallet can be filled with cash or a check and I don't know many people who could not use a new wallet. Do you?
This way the graduate will have the needed money to purchase what he or she wants and also will have a treasured gift to keep and remember you by.

- Great ideas for the grad! A money tree would be good, too. I think you fold money in a certain way and attach each bill to branches on a little tree? Anyone know how it's done? My son just graduated from Seminary!

- Great ideas. My son graduated from high school last year, but college graduation will be here before I know it and my daughter will graduate high school in 3 years, so these ideas will come in handy. Yes, my son just wanted money too.

- Nice ideas. My daughter is graduating very soon from high school. We all (parents, grandparents and extended family) are pitching in to get her a laptop. It is what she really wanted and will be put to good use at college.

- Money is always welcome as a grad gift; finding unique ways to present it is a challenge but lots of fun. I gave my younger daughter cash tucked inside a bank made from a recycled post office box when she graduated from college. It was handmade in Vermont near where she went to school, and she's a recycler like her mom and dad so it was a big hit - maybe even more exciting than the cash :D. Congrats to your son!

- Glad you liked my ideas. I like to give money but still like to give something personal to go with it so it just seems logical to give something to hold the money. I also like engraved gifts.
